The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks look like a pair of contenders in the NFC, but the road will be much tougher if they are not able to claim their division titles. Both are currently sitting as wild card entrants into the postseason and a victory in this head-to-head matchup on Monday night would be a big boost. The Vikings are tied with the Packers at 8-3 atop the NFC North, but do not have the tiebreaker. The Seahawks are 9-2 on the year but still sit a game behind the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West. This game between the Vikings and Seahawks should be a good one in front of a nationally televised audience.
This NFL regular season game between the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks will be held at CenturyLink Stadium in Seattle, Washington at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday, December 2nd, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Odds Analysis
The Seahawks come in as the three-point favorites, but the majority of the money is coming in on the Vikings to cover that spread. Seattle is the -145 favorite on the moneyline while Minnesota is the slight +125 underdog. The scoring total is listed at 50 points, as the oddsmakers believe each side could put up a decent number of points.
Player To Watch
Russell Wilson -- The Seahawks quarterback is in the midst of an MVP-type season. Even though the Seattle defense is not as strong as it once was, the presence of their star signal-caller has still lifted the team to great heights.
Wilson has thrown for 2,937 yards with 24 touchdowns and only three interceptions. Wilson doesn’t run the ball a ton, but when he does he is effective. Wilson has also mastered the ability to move around in the pocket and keep plays alive.
Tyler Lockett is a talented wide receiver, but Wilson’s season has been so impressive because he does not have a great supporting cast or a scheme that highlights his abilities. The Vikings have a strong defense but Wilson has shown the ability to move the ball against any and all defenses this year.
Injury Report
Each team is hoping to have one of their better players on the field for this game. Seahawks star edge-rusher Jadeveon Clowney is dealing with hip and knee injuries that forced him to miss practice this week. However, coach Pete Carroll expects him to play against Minnesota. It would be a big deal, as Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is a pocket passer who is pretty good in rhythm but struggles when under pressure.
Cousins hopes to have Adam Thielen to throw to in this one. The talented wide receiver has been out for several games and didn’t practice early in the week, so it remains to be seen if he will be available. The Vikings have other options, led by wideout Stefon Diggs, but the return of Thielen would certainly be a boost.
NFL Pick
The Seahawks have put together a nice season but they are not as well-rounded as the Vikings. Cousins has found a nice groove this season and will take aim at a suspect Seattle defense. The Vikings have the higher-end potential and will show it off in this one by pulling off the road upset. The moneyline isn’t super lucrative as the oddsmakers have a feeling Minnesota might snatch this one, but the odds are solid enough to roll with the Vikings. The “over” is the call as the Vikings could light up the scoreboard behind Cousins, Diggs and running back Dalvin Cook.
NFL Pick: Minnesota Vikings 28, Seattle Seahawks 24
