The last week of the preseason takes place this week with games taking place from Thursday through Sunday. Week 3 of the NFL Preseason is difficult for oddsmakers and for bettors because many teams are not playing their starters. It used to be that you could count on starters getting a certain amount of playing time but that is no longer the case as more and more teams are not playing their starters at all. It will be important to look at the backup quarterbacks and teams that have depth before making NFL Preseason Week 3 picks. BookMaker.eu will have spreads and point totals for every game on the NFL schedule.

NFL Preseason Week 3 Picks
When it comes to Week 3 it is best to show some caution, because many teams are simply going to play backups. One thing we can rely upon is that the Baltimore Ravens will play hard. The Ravens won again last week, stretching their NFL preseason winning streak to 22 games, an all-time record. The Ravens opened up this week as a 6.5-point home favorite against Washington in one of the games on Saturday. The Ravens are simply an automatic play in the preseason until they lose, even if their starters don’t play. It was obvious last week that Baltimore has some very talented backups including quarterback Tyler Huntley and rookie tight end Isaiah Likely. We’ll lay the points and take the Ravens on Saturday.
Is there anything to like about the Bucs in the preseason? This team could struggle a lot more than some people think this season. Brady is 45 years old and it looks like he regrets his decision to come back. He isn’t likely to play on Saturday against the Colts and Tampa just looks to be focused on the regular season and hoping Brady is ready. I’ll lay the points and take the Colts on Saturday.
Another game on Saturday has Arizona visiting Tennessee. The Cardinals have pretty much decided they are not going to play many of their starters in the preseason and they didn’t look very good last week. The Titans are not playing many of their starters, but I have been extremely impressed with rookie quarterback Malik Willis. He looks to be a player who could take over the starting job from Ryan Tannehill in the near future. I’ll take the Titans in this game.
One of the two games on Sunday has the Giants visiting the Jets. It doesn’t really matter to me what the line is, as it will be less than a touchdown with the Giants likely favored. The Jets won’t have starting quarterback Zach Wilson and they may decide to hold out backup Joe Flacco to make sure he doesn’t get hurt. How much confidence can you have in Mike White or Chris Streveler? The Giants have a decent rotation of Daniel Jones, Tyrod Taylor and Davis Webb. I’ll take the Giants to get the win on Sunday.
