Thanksgiving week in the NFL is always a good time with three games on Thursday to get Week 13 of the NFL season started. In fact there will be at least one game on four of five days with the AFC West contest between Las Vegas and Kansas City taking place on Friday. With the league trying to maximize exposure over the Holiday weekend there are no byes so a full slate of 16 games is available to bet on and build a winning NFL parlay at your Bitcoin sportsbook. As is tradition in the NFL, the Lions and Cowboys will host games on Turkey day with Miami and Green Bay tangling in the evening. The betting week concludes on Monday with Denver hosting Cleveland. With Week 12 games on my NFL parlay not yet completed at the time of this writing, I’ll go back to Week 11, and what a week it was. I hit two two-team parlays winning the underdog ticket with Pittsburgh beating Baltimore outright, 18-16, as a 3.5-point dog and Buffalo getting past the Chiefs. The line in that game jumped the fence with the Bills closing as a 2.5-pint favorite after initially opening as a 1.5-point dog. My parlay card of favorites also hit when the Eagles covered in their 26-18 win over Washington and Minnesota beating Tennessee, 23-13, laying 6-points.
Superstitions are prevalent in sports so why not when betting on sports? In hopes of continuing my heater I’ll stick with the same format that got me a nice payout in Week 11. The Saints are playing with a lot more passion under interim coach Darren Rizzi than they did while Dennis Allen was at the helm. And Rizzi has gotten the most out of Taysom Hill. Hill had a massive game rushing for 138 yards and three TDs while catching eight passes for 50 yards. He also chipped in 18 passing yards in two attempts with the offense showing off. The Rams aren’t stellar defensively and I like Hill, Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara to do enough at home and benefit from the 2.5-point spread.
It’s a good thing the Broncos are playing well with a 6-3 run getting them over .500 and in playoff position. A good thing for the Browns, that is, since their two most recent victories over the top clubs in the AFC North. Cleveland beat Pittsburgh 24-19 in last week’s Thursday night game after topping Baltimore 29-24 in Week 8. The Browns have lost four straight on the road, but this is good test for Jameis Winston in his quest to be the team’s starting QB beyond this season.

Backing road favorites is always a crapshoot when betting on the NFL so I must be doing something right to hit better than 56 percent of my individual picks with a few parlay winners. With the Falcons struggling the NFC South is up for grabs and the Bucs, despite their own recent hardships, have a chance to get healthy against Carolina. Recent losses were against some of the top teams in the NFL with three setbacks by a combined 19 points with one going to overtime. The Bucs have played some strong games with Baker Mayfield directing an offense that’s among the top 5 in scoring and the Panthers have a hard time stopping teams.
This pick isn’t an endorsement of the Colts rather a negative view of the Patriots. The Pats have a few wins, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then. The Pats are among the worst offensive teams in the NFL and they’re just slightly better defensively. I like Indy for their diverse offense and the Colts are much stronger at stopping opponents. It is a road game, but laying only 2.5-points is a bet I can and will make.
