As it turns out backing the best team in the league isn’t always a winning proposition. The Eagles were the only thing that stood between me and another winning NFL parlay last week at my bitcoin sportsbook. We hit the final four weeks of the NFL regular season with playoff races and positioning heating up. And like last week proved anything can happen. Two of the top teams in the AFC lost with Kansas City and Jacksonville falling one game behind in the overall conference standings with their setbacks. And the NFC race tightened up with the Eagles now holding just a one-game bulge over a trio of teams for the top spot in that conference.

Week 14 NFL Parlay Card Wagers
Before moving to the Week 14 parlay picks, I need to lament my near miss last week. The reigning NFC champion Eagles were one of my picks catching 3-points at home in their conference championship rematch with San Francisco. And the game wasn’t close. The Niners looked like the best team in the NFL easily covering the 3-point spread in their 42-19 victory. What made it worse is that my other two picks won earlier in the day. I wasn’t expecting a lot of offense in the Arizona-Pittsburgh game and the teams obliged giving me a win UNDER the total of 41 in the Cards’ 24-10 triumph. I also backed the Panthers +5.5 expecting them to show a little fire for their new coach. They didn’t win but stayed within the line setting me up for disappointment later in the day. That happens and you just have to move on.

Another three-team NFL parlay is in the works and I feel confident about my picks. The Baltimore Ravens entered their bye winning six of seven games to take a share of first place in the AFC. They scored more than 30 points in five straight games before dropping below that number in a 20-10 win over the Chargers in Week 12. With Lamar Jackson at the helm the Ravens lead the NFL averaging 158.6 rushing yards. They don’t throw the football a lot but Jackson is efficient when the Ravens take to the air.
I was hesitant to bet the spread since the Rams are playing well having won three in a row to sneak back into the NFC playoff picture. Offensively they’ve been really good the last two games scoring 37 points against Arizona and last week breaking down a good Cleveland defense for almost 400 total yards in a 36-19 triumph. Behind stellar protection Matthew Stafford tossed three TD passes and wasn’t sacked. In those two wins the Rams kept their QB upright allowing Stafford to throw seven TD passes with only one pick allowing me to confidently back the OVER.
The Eagles were living on the edge before finally falling off it last week. They trailed at halftime in each of their previous four games but rallied to win. They couldn’t revive the magic against the Niners falling in a big way 42-19. They now face a Cowboys club that’s been dominant at home and is looking to avenge a Week 9 loss. Dallas had chances to win that game instead falling 28-23, their only setback in the last seven games. The Boys are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS while running their home winning streak to 14 games. They’ve outscored opponents by an average of over 25 points and are 5-0 SU and ATS in their last five home games with Philly. I’ll lay the points here.
The last leg of my parlay involves another NFC East team with the Giants at +7 against Green Bay on Monday night for the winner. I wasn’t sure about their undrafted backup QB, but Tommy DeVito has provided a spark during New York’s two-game winning streak. In that span DeVito has completed more than 68 percent of his passes with three TDs and zero interceptions. And the defense forced nine takeaways in those games. The Packers are playing well but I believe the Giants have improved enough offensively to stay within the touchdown spread.
