NFL Week 16 Moneyline Parlay Picks - NFL Betting

Picking a team for our money line parlay card just because it’s favored by a touchdown or more doesn’t guarantee a win, as we found out again last week. We felt the Rams’ loss in Chicago was an outlier and a return to the friendly confines of the Coliseum against an Eagles team without its starting quarterback would get LA back in the win column. Boy, were we wrong on that one.

For the third straight week we went with a double-digit favorite that lost outright, blowing up our money line parlay card. And thinking the Jags were in a better spot than Washington was a big mistake. Losing to a quarterback who hasn’t started a game in seven years has to be icing on the cake for Jacksonville’s lost season. Week 16 figures to be just as crazy and we’ll try and give bettors some insight as to which teams have a chance of making a winning money line parlay card so we can beat the house.

Let’s have a look at a few Week 16 games to make up a money line parlay card.

Money Line Parlay Card Favorites

To improve your odds of cashing a winning money line parlay card it’s always a smart play to pick a few favorites. Going with all favored teams gives you a better a chance to win, however the payout isn’t nearly as hefty as what it would be if there were a few underdogs on the card. To increase the odds of a winning ticket and a better payout, we’re going to look at a five-team money line parlay with three favored teams and two underdogs.

It’s not always the safest route to take the highest favored teams on the NFL betting lines. We proved that again last week with the Rams ruining our money line parlay card. But we’re going back to the NFC West champs as they look to straighten things out in time for the playoffs. And playing the pitiful Cardinals should be what the Rams need to get over their mini-slide. While the offense has struggled over the past three games, the Los Angeles defense has shown some improvement since getting gouged earlier in the year. The Cards just don’t have enough weapons and the Rams should score enough to get the victory, even if Todd Gurley doesn’t play.

While the Patriots have struggled on the road this season, they’ve been dominant at home. And just like the Rams, they need to iron out a few things before the playoffs begin. And I can’t see the Pats losing at home to the Bills, so the Fightin’ Brady’s are another pick on the money line parlay card. The Pats are 6-0 at Gillette Stadium and they’ll be excited to play at home after losing two straight on the road. Buffalo’s defense will be a good challenge for the Pats, but Tom
Brady has been sensational at home.

Is it too late to jump on the Bears bandwagon? They clinched their first division title since 2010 last week and there’s always the possibility of a letdown. But the Bears have their sights set on catching the Rams and need to win out to have a chance. The Niners showed some spunk beating the Seahawks last week, but that’s about all the good vibes they have going for them. We’re taking Chicago as another favorite on our money line parlay card.

Money Line Parlay Card Underdog Winners

In order to sweeten the pot on our money line parlay card payout, we’ll go with a few dogs, and there are several enticing teams to choose from. We’ve done rather well picking upset winners, buying the Titans last week when they were dogs for their game against the Giants. The line eventually tipped in their favor, but we got Tennessee early before the line jumped the fence. We didn’t have as much luck with the Packers, who were defeated in Chicago. Seattle is a good upset pick as the Seahawks opened as 2.5-point dogs for their tilt with Kansas City. And there is another game we like.

The Baltimore Ravens have turned the offense over to Lamar Jackson and the rookie has delivered four wins in his five starts. Jackson and the potent run game will be a handful for the Bolts, who have to change gears after knocking off the pass-happy Chiefs last week. And talk about a letdown, how can the Chargers not have one after working the whole season just to catch KC? Now that they have there is sure to be a sigh of relief, and that’s all the Ravens need to notch the upset on our money line parlay card.
