With teams locking up playoff spots and positions, the final weekend of the NFL regular season is difficult to handicap if you bet on the NFL using bitcoin. You could say that about the entire year, though, with a number of surprising outcomes. Kansas City improved to 15-1 securing the top seed in the AFC with their 29-10 win over Pittsburgh on Christmas. The team has already said starters will be rested for the finale against AFC West rival the Denver Broncos. And every game on the Week 18 slate is a divisional matchup with a few divisions yet to be decided. Baltimore seized control of the AFC North winning three games in a row while the Steelers are enduring a three-game losing streak. A win over Cleveland in Week 18 gives the Ravens the division crown and they are a massive 18-point favorite. I stunk up my NFL parlay picks last week and have one more chance at a winning ticket during the regular season so we better make this one count.

Browns +18 at Ravens
Giants +3 at Eagles
We rarely see NFL games with a spread of 18 points but that’s what we have in Saturday’s AFC North showdown between Cleveland and Baltimore. Based on recent results the number isn’t excessive. The Ravens are rolling and can lock up the division with a win. Meanwhile, the Browns are tumbling losing five in a row while scoring a total of 16 points in their last three games. They are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight games. But 18 points is a lot and considering the Browns play some of their best ball against Baltimore I’m backing the points. Cleveland won the first meeting outright 29-24 as a 7-point dog, their second straight upset win in the series. They’ve also won three of the last four matchups with payouts in four of the last five.
As it stands right now we’re likely to see career third-stringer Tanner McKee at QB for the Eagles on Sunday. With Philly locked into the No. 2 seed and both Jalen Hurts and Kenny Pickett dealing with injuries, there’s no reason to play them. That’s why the spread is only 3-points. And it doesn’t appear as though the Giants are tanking for a better draft pick, at least not after last week’s game. The Giants exploded for 45 points with Drew Lock throwing for 309 yards and four scores against a Colts team that was still in the playoff hunt.
I think I gave the Panthers too much respect in their Week 17 game with Tampa Bay. They were playing better and Bryce Young looked sharper than at any time in his career. However the defense had no answer for Baker Mayfield, who threw five TD passes, and the Bucs amassed 551 yards covering the 8.5-point line in a 48-14 victory and a losing NFL parlay.

I didn’t fare well on my favorites, either, losing a pair of games when the Colts and Saints both lost outright. In their previous five games the Giants scored a total of 59 points losing every one. They also failed to reach the 30-point mark in any game this year. Yet they erupted against the Colts. And I shouldn’t have expected much from the Saints after they were shutout the week before. They scored 10 points but allowed 25 to a woeful Las Vegas group.
Let’s move on to better things, hopefully. The Dolphins are still alive in the playoff hunt after winning their last two games. They upended Cleveland last week behind Tyler Huntley, who was starting in place of injured Tua Tagovailoa. Tua’s status remains unclear but I’m still backing the Fins against a Jets team that’s given up. New York fell behind Buffalo 40-0 on Sunday before scoring two late touchdowns on passes from Tyrod Taylor. With so much promise before the season started, it can’t end soon enough for the Jets.
After winning with defense most of the season, the Chargers offense exploded for 74 points the last two games with Justin Herbert throwing five TD passes. The Bolts have secured a playoff spot but Jim Harbaugh’s history says his team isn’t going lightly. LA can also improve its seeding to avoid a first round matchup with Baltimore.
