We hit on three money line favorites last week on our parlay card and Week 6 of the NFL regular season offers up some tasty matchups to give bettors a chance at filling up their money clip. When playing a multi-game money line parlay card, it’s imperative that one or more underdogs are selected to sweeten the payout. We’ll take a look at some must have favorites on this week’s slate and delve into some potential upsets that will give players a better chance at a maximum return. Betting parlays definitely falls into the risk-reward category since all picks have to win in order for the ticket to cash. Let’s take a look at some teams you need on your Week 6 money line parlay card.
Money Line Parlay Favorites
To improve your odds of cashing a winning money line parlay card it’s always a smart play to pick a few favorites. Going with all favored teams gives you a better a chance to win, however the payout isn’t nearly as hefty as what it would be if there were a few underdogs on the card. To increase the odds of a winning ticket and a better payout, we’re going to look at a four-team money line parlay with three favored teams and one underdog on the Week 6 slate of games.
One favorite we’re backing this week is the Philadelphia Eagles for their Thursday night encounter with the Giants. Philly hasn’t looked anything like the defending Super Bowl champs, but they are better than the G-Men on a bad day. I don’t anticipate the Giants having much success scoring against Philly’s tough defense and Carson Wentz has been solid if not spectacular since his return. It’s been a few games now and it’s time for Wentz to enter the spectacular category.
Making matters worse for the Giants are the recent remarks made by Odell Beckham Jr., and now Pat Shurmur must contain his own locker room while trying to win football games. This is a NFC East contest and the Giants aren’t out of contention yet. But they are far from a team that’s ready to make a run. As poorly as the Eagles have played at times this season, they are still the defending champs and that’s not going to change.
We also like the Vikings to not be upset as a double-digit favorite at home, that’s why they are on our money line parlay card for the week. The Vikings may have overlooked Buffalo a few weeks ago when they were embarrassed at home as a 16.5-point favorite. You can bet that aint happening again. Minnesota ended a three-game winless streak by knocking off the Eagles last week and they looked like the team most expected with a sound defensive effort and Kirk Cousins going off.
The Cards became the last team to win a game when they knocked off the Niners last week. They took advantage of backup C.J. Beathard and a beaten up team, forcing five turnovers to collect the victory. Things are going to be different this week and the Vikings are going to be ready since they don’t want to lose outright twice in the same season to a double-digit underdog.
Green Bay needs to be another team on your money line parlay card. Despite the injury concerns of Aaron Rodgers and his group of receivers, the Packers aren’t nearly as decimated as the Niners. And there was a lot wrong with the Packers last week that can easily be fixed. Kicker Mason Crosby had the worst day of any kicker in history, special teams gave away 20 points and the Pack nearly came back from a huge deficit. I don’t expect the Packers to be so philanthropic this week.
Underdog Winners
Picking all favorites on a money line parlay card isn’t going to net a huge return so we need to go with a few underdogs to make it worthwhile. We don’t often see the Pittsburgh Steelers as dogs, but they are +121 on the money line at BookMaker.eu ahead of their matchup with Cincinnati. Pittsburgh has owned the series winning six straight and nine out of the last 10 meetings. They’ve also won five straight in Cincy and they are the Bengals kryptonite. Going with the underdog Steelers and the favorites will help the payout on your winning money line parlay card.
