Once again I came close to hitting a three-team parlay, but as you know there are only a few instances were coming close counts and NFL parlays aint one of them. So it’s back to the Crypto Sportsbook drawing board for my Week 9 NFL parlay picks as I look to cash a winning ticket. I did have two three-team winners in a three week stretch earlier this season when I was riding an amazing heater. But the books gotta eat too, just don’t let them get fat and sassy. Last week was a good one for favorites around the NFL with wins in 12 of 16 games while going 8-4 ATS. At 6-2 ATS Miami and Jacksonville are the most profitable teams in the NFL with both winning and covering last week. The Jags enjoy their bye while the Dolphins and Chiefs battle in a heavyweight clash in Germany.

Week 9 NFL Parlay Card Wagers
Watching New England beat Buffalo a week earlier gave me confidence to back the Pats at +9.5 for their matchup with Miami. Things were going well with the Pats down seven points midway through the fourth quarter. The Dolphins weren’t done, though, scoring a touchdown with less than three minutes to play for the 31-17 win spoiling my Week 8 ticket. I bought the Jets at -2.5 before the line moved to -3 at some shops. The early wager proved to be a gift as did the Jets 13-10 win over the Giants. Backing the OVER in the Rams/Cowboys game was a smart wager since Dallas nearly hit the total of 45 on their own in the 43-20 triumph. I’ll try to get back to my winning ways in Week 9 of the NFL season.
Cleveland Browns -8
Dallas Cowboys +3
Chargers / Jets UNDER 41.5

Quarterbacks are going down all around the NFL due to injuries. The Cardinals are making a switch due to poor play from Joshua Dobbs. It was revealed this week that Arizona will make the move to rookie Clayton Tune to try and end the club’s five-game losing streak, though coach Jonathan Gannon didn’t rule out the possibility of Kyler Murray making his season debut as he gets close to returning from ACL surgery. Either way one of those guys will be tossed to the dogs against a Cleveland defense that’s pretty solid. The Browns boast the NFL’s top overall unit allowing just 260 yards per game while giving up fewer than 20 points per contest.
The question is whether the Browns can score enough to cover the line. They’ve been okay with P.J. Walker at the helm but the last of his two picks proved fatal giving Seattle the ball with less than two minutes remaining in the game. The Seahawks scored the eventual game-winning touchdown just a few plays later. Walker is fine as long as he doesn’t turn the ball over.
The Eagles own the best record in the NFL at 7-1, though a few of those wins have been closer than expected. They held on to beat Washington 38-31 and barely knocked off the team formerly known as the Redskins 34-31 in Week 4. And there was a perplexing loss to the Jets just a few weeks ago. I don’t think the Eagles are as dominant as their record shows and Jalen Hurts was bothered by a knee injury limiting his mobility. Dallas has regrouped after a 32-point thrashing in the Bay Area a few weeks ago and the Boys are 4-1 SU and ATS in the last five series meetings. Not only do I think the Cowboys cover I also like them for the outright.
Scoring has been tough for the Chargers when facing a stingy defense. They managed 17 points in losses to Kansas City and Dallas and face another elite group on Monday night. The Jets have to be good stopping teams since Zach Wilson and the offense struggle to do anything consistently. The Jets held the Giants to -9 passing yards and fewer than 200 total yards in a 13-10 overtime win on Sunday. It could be ugly but that’s the way the Jets have to play in order to have success, and they’ve won three games in a row.
