The Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night in a game that can be seen on Prime Video. Both teams come into this game at 1-1 and each team is coming off a home loss. The Steelers couldn’t find a way to score many points and lost to the Patriots, while the Browns inexplicably found a way to blow a big lead and lose to the Jets. The Steelers have won six of the last ten meetings in this series, including both of last year’s meetings, but Pittsburgh is listed as almost a touchdown underdog for this Thursday night contest. We are coming off a win last week with the Chargers plus the points. We’ll look to make it two straight on Thursday night.
On Thursday, September 23, 2022, the Pittsburgh Steelers will visit the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video

Odds Analysis
The money on this game has been coming in on the Browns. Cleveland opened up as a 3.5-point favorite and the line is up to -5. The money is also coming in on the total, as it opened at 40.5 and is down to 40. It could be that this is a totally one-sided game in terms of the money, as very few people want to bet on the Steelers and not many people want to bet on these two offenses putting up a lot of points.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are not a good team but they play in a division that looks to be weak. Last year’s Super Bowl runner-up, the Cincinnati Bengals are 0-2, the Browns are playing a back-up quarterback and Baltimore doesn’t have much of a defense. The problem for the Steelers is that they don’t have a quarterback who is capable of making plays and their defense is missing their best player in T.J. Watt.
The Steelers are averaging just 18.5 points per game and they are averaging only 255 yards per contest. They are struggling just to move the ball and putting points on the board has been difficult. The defense is giving up 18.5 points per game which is 13th in the league, but there are major warning signs, as they are giving up 404 yards per game, which is 28th in the NFL.
Najee Harris has rushed for just 72 yards this season and he leads the team. Mitch Trubisky has thrown for 362 yards, while Diontae Johnson leads the team with 112 receiving yards.
Cleveland Browns
The Browns are averaging 28 points per game which is 7th in the league and they are averaging 380 yards per contest. Cleveland does much of their damage on the ground, as they average just over 200 yards per contest, 2nd best in the league. The Browns are giving up 27.5 points per contest which is 26th in the league and they are giving up 331.5 yards per game.
Nick Chubb leads the team with 228 rushing yards, Jacoby Brissett has thrown for 376 yards, while Amari Cooper leads the team with 118 receiving yards.
Steelers at Browns Free Pick
The Steelers are 6-3-1 in the last ten meetings against the Browns and they are 6-4 ATS. Five of the last ten games have gone over and five have gone under. The Steelers are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games in Cleveland, with seven of the last ten going under the total.
I am never thrilled with following the line moves in the NFL, but I don’t see any other choice in this contest. The Steelers are a bad team with Trubisky under center and their defense isn’t that good without Watt. The Browns are simply better on both sides of the ball. I will take the Browns and the game under the total.
