The Baltimore Ravens visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night in a game that can be seen on NBC. The Ravens come into this game reeling, having been pushed around at home by the Tennessee Titans, while the Steelers are the league’s lone unbeaten team at 10-0. This is a revenge game for the Ravens, as they were beaten by the Steelers earlier this season, but the Steelers are listed as 3.5-point home favorites in this game. Let’s look at the Thursday night matchup and NFL picks.

Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5

Odds Analysis
This line has bounced around from 3 to 3.5, and the total has been at 46 or 46.5. The Ravens have disappointed bettors for much of this season, but even if they lose this game to drop to 6-5, they have a very favorable schedule to end the season and will likely be a Wild Card team. On the other side, the Steelers are getting a lot of love from the public, but Pittsburgh has played a very weak schedule. You can make a case that in their 10 wins, only two are quality wins, as they beat Baltimore and Tennessee. The Steelers do have a couple of tough games remaining after this one, as they visit Buffalo and they host Indianapolis.
Pittsburgh is the 18th team in the Super Bowl era to start a season at 10-0. You would think that reaching the Super Bowl would be almost a certainty for teams that start 10-0, but it is not a given. Of the previous 17 teams that started 10-0 a total of 10 of those teams made the Super Bowl, but seven did not. Six of those 17 teams won the Super Bowl.
Injury Report
The Ravens don’t have any new injury issues, but injuries have been a problem for them this season, especially on the offensive line. They have also had injuries on the defensive line, but it is not like Baltimore has been decimated by injuries. They simply haven’t played well in some of their games this season.
The Steelers have a few injuries of note. Pittsburgh is hoping that Joe Haden and JuJu Smith-Schuster will be available. Both players were hurt in the win over Jacksonville last week. Pittsburgh also lost tight end Zach Gentry to injury in the game. There is a good chance that Haden and Smith-Schuster will be available for Thursday’s game, but Gentry is probably out.
Game Trends
The Ravens are 10-1 SU in their last 11 games on the road. Baltimore is 4-0-2 ATS in their last 6 games in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games.
Free ATS Pick
These teams met in Week 8 and it was the Steelers winning 28-24. The Ravens have been a mess since that loss going 1-3 in their last four games. I think this is a key game for Baltimore, but there are legitimate concerns about how this team is playing. If the Ravens can’t get up for this game on Thursday then John Harbaugh better start worrying about his job. I know that the Steelers have looked really good, but as I said earlier, I think they have benefited greatly from an easy schedule. At this number, I have to take the Ravens plus the points and a straight up win would not be a surprise.
NFL Pick: Ravens 27, Steelers 21
