When we think of the New Orleans Saints, points and yards immediately come to mind. The Saints are at it again this season with Brees leading the way. In last week’s win over the Falcons, Brees was unstoppable throwing for 396 yards and three touchdowns while adding two more scores on the ground, including the game-winner in overtime. The Saints won the game outright as a 1.5-point underdog, winning against the spread for the first time this season.
Without Mark Ingram to shoulder some of the load in the running game, Brees has thrown at least 35 passes in every game and had 49 attempts last week. Payton lost confidence in Mike Gillislee after some ball security issues and Kamara will be used extensively against the Giants in the final game before his sidekick Ingram is scheduled to return.
