And knowing he has a chance to steal the spotlight during the biggest sporting event of the year, Mr. Trump will certainly make a run at the over. The Prez has a good handle on social media and he likes to tweet about everything. He’s also a football fan having been a team owner in the old USFL while attempting to negotiate into the NFL. Having a grasp on who the winning quarterback is will go a long way toward determining what answer to wager on. We have a history with Tom Brady since he’s been the winning quarterback in five Super Bowls. And like everything, he has changed over time. He may have thanked his coach after winning his first Super Bowl 18 years ago, but he is now a devoted father and family man and he probably wouldn’t hear the end of it from Giselle if he didn’t give her a shout out.
Our other option is Jared Goff, who is competing in his first Super Bowl. Goff’s career took off under the tutelage of Sean McVay and it’s hard to imagine him not thanking his coach should he and the Rams exit victorious. Who can forget the mammoth comeback two years ago when the Pats rallied from a 28-3 third quarter deficit with Brady tossing a pair of scoring passes and completing a 2-point conversion. Can he do it again? If he does, Brady will make some ‘yes’ bettors extremely happy.
