Super Bowl LV Exotic Props at BookMaker.eu

The super bowl of sports betting is the Super Bowl. Not only are the traditional markets available, but oddsmakers take it to another level for Super Sunday with hundreds if not thousands of additional proposition bets on the menu. For newbies the whole thing can be overwhelming. It isn’t. Actually it’s quite easy and should be fun to make what happens before, during and after the event a little more interesting. A prop bet is one that is not directly related to the outcome or score of the game but involves the teams and players. An exotic prop typically has absolutely nothing to do with the game, so you don’t have to be a fan of either team or the NFL to get involved.

Outcome of the coin toss

Heads -105

Tails -105

Surprisingly this prop has become hugely popular. It’s a simple bet that doesn’t require a deep analytical dive or number-crunching. And it’s a fun way to get Super Sunday started. Because of its success at sportsbooks we’ve seen a number of variations to this wager. Instead of picking heads or tails you can bet on which team wins the toss and what the winning team will choose to do. You can also throw down on whether or not the coin toss winner ends up winning the game. We’ll stick to the heads/tails format in this section. Since the flip is a 50/50 proposition you might as well flip a coin to decide what side to bet on. Over the previous 54 Super Bowls the coin landed on tails 29 times, including the last two games and six of the previous seven. The law of averages suggests heads on Sunday, so that’s what I’m playing.

What will be mentioned first?

Tom Brady’s 10th Super Bowl ( -140 )

Tom Brady’s Age 43 ( +100 )

Adding to his record number of Super Bowl appearances and continuing to play at a high level approaching his mid-40s are major accomplishments. Both will get mentioned during the broadcast and it sounds natural hearing at 43 Brady is playing his 10th Super Bowl. Doesn’t it? Well, I think so and that’s why I’ll take the even-money odds on the broadcast crew thinking along the same lines.

Prediction: 43 ( +100 )

Will any field goal or PAT hit crossbar or uprights?

Yes +400

No -625

Both kickers have been solid this season so the popular answer would be NO. However, given the magnitude and scope of the contest you can bet both Harrison Butker and Ryan Succop will have some jitters. The guys have done this thousands of times and Butker has kicked in the Super Bowl before, but it’s still the biggest game with everybody in the universe watching. And sometimes you just never know where the ball is going, just like my golf game. I try not to hit the ball into the water or sand, but it always finds a way. There really is no value saying NO on this bet so you might as well drop a few bucks on one of the kickers banging the ball off the iron; it happens more times than you think.

Prediction: YES ( +400 )

How many times will "Home Field Advantage" be said?

Over 0.5 ( -246 )

Under 0.5 ( +191 )

There are plenty of different storylines surrounding this game. You have Brady playing in his 10th Super Bowl looking for his seventh win. Last year’s MVP Mahomes and the Chiefs trying to become the first repeat champs in 15 years. But the most interesting might be the Bucs as the first team in history to play the Super Bowl in its home venue. Is it truly a home game, though, and do the Bucs have home field advantage? There will be a limited number of spectators and many of them are corporate suits invited by the league. There won’t be an advantage and thus the phrase will not be said.

Prediction:

UNDER 0.5 ( +191 )
