The comeback kids also known as the Kansas City Chiefs are champions of the football world. In all three of their post season matchups the Chiefs had to rally from double digit deficits for stirring comeback wins. Most important of all, Kansas City covered the NFL Odds all three times. With KC winning Super Bowl LIV 31-20 over the San Francisco 49ers they will enter the 2020 season as the early betting favorite for a repeat championship in Super Bowl LV. While the new champion is almost always touted as the next champion the Chiefs actually have a strong case for a second straight title. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is now established as the best in the NFL and the ultimate game changer.

Super Bowl LV Odds Analysis
One fact of life with futures NFL Odds is that most of the public bets on this year based on last year. And that is certainly expected to be the case for the 2020 season, at least at the opening. Sharps will look more towards good teams coming off less than expected seasons. They will point to the San Francisco 49ers remarkable 2019 campaign after injuries wiped them out in 2018 as a prime example.
A New Dynasty?
Many have already touted the Chiefs as a new dynasty. The reason is head coach Andy Reid, now a certain Hall of Famer, and of course Mahomes, the Most Valuable Player of the NFL in 2018 as well as Super Bowl LIV. The New England Patriots model of coach Bill Belichick and Tom Brady feeds into that. Mahomes is only 24 years old and KC is a newly arrived power with plenty of upside.
Baltimore Ravens
Following a 14-2 season in which Lamar Jackson was named 2019 NFL MVP the Ravens are another understandable choice to win Super Bowl LV. Their upset playoff loss to the Tennessee Titans is seen by many as part of the growing process.
San Francisco 49ers
More than a few fans and gamblers believe the better team lost the Super Bowl. Whether that’s true or not what is undeniable is that the Niners have one of the most complete and fundamentally sounds teams in the NFL and are not going away.
Los Angeles Rams
After winning the 2018 NFC championship the Rams took a big step back in 2019. LA is a classic beaten favorite that can make it right back to Super Sunday with a few tweaks and tighter play in 2020.
Pittsburgh Steelers
This is a team that a lot of sharps will point towards assuming that Ben Roethlisberger returns as starting quarterback. Pittsburgh recovered from a 1-4 start to make the AFC playoff race all the way to the end.
Super Bowl LV Odds Pick
Keep in mind much will change between now and opening day in September. Free agency and the draft will dominate the spring months. Which means team dynamics can change dramatically. But one thing that won’t change is that Reid and Mahomes return to KC. There is no need to get cute and overthink this one!
