Where is the smart money going in the NFL for Week 16? There are a number of key games this week including the Bills at the Patriots on Saturday on NFL Network. The Cowboys and Eagles meet on Sunday with the winner likely taking the NFC East, while the Monday night game on ESPN is huge, as the Packers visit the Vikings for the lead in the NFC North. After having a really good Week 15, the money moves by the wise guys got crushed last week, going 1-7 including one of the worst losses in recent memory on the Redskins against the Eagles. Week 16 NFL Wiseguy Picks
Houston Texans -3 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The wiseguys think the Texans are not going to have a letdown on Saturday against the Bucs. Houston got a big win last week against Tennessee and now they are road favorites against Tampa Bay. The line has gone from a pick to Texans -3.
New Orleans Saints -3 at Tennessee Titans
The wiseguys were impressed by the Saints in their Monday night win and they are backing New Orleans on the road against the Titans. The Saints usually are not as good on the road, so this looks like a risky play. The line has gone from the Saints -1 to -3.
Cincinnati Bengals +1 at Miami Dolphins
The Bengals are the choice in this game for the wiseguys, as the number has dropped from 2.5 to 1. The Bengals and Dolphins have had poor seasons, but the Bengals have looked much better of late with Andy Dalton back at quarterback.
Baltimore Ravens -10 at Cleveland Browns
The wiseguys are all over the Ravens in this one, as the line has gone from 7 to 10. It is easy to see why the pick is Baltimore as they are rolling while the Browns are a poorly coached mess. This is the biggest line move of the week.
Dallas Cowboys -2.5 at Philadelphia Eagles
The battle for the NFC East takes place on Sunday and the wiseguys like the Cowboys, as the line has moved from Dallas -1 to 2.5. Even though the line has moved 1.5 points, this is not a huge move, as the number is not yet to 3.
Rams-49ers under 45
Totals have not gone well for the wiseguys but they are coming back for more in Week 16. They like the late Saturday night game under, as it has moved from 46.5 to 45.
Texans-Buccaneers under 50.5
I don’t get the wiseguys move on this total, as the Texans and Bucs are scoring a lot of points recently. The line has moved from 53 to 50.5.
Raiders-Chargers under 45.5
The wiseguys like the Raiders and Chargers game under, as it has moved from 47 to 45.5. Both quarterbacks in this game have struggled recently, so it makes a little sense that the wiseguys like the under.
Cowboys-Eagles under 46
It will be a double play for the wiseguys on this game, as they took the Cowboys and now they are playing the under, as the number moved from 47.5 to 46. Oftentimes, big games that have a lot of meaning see teams starting slowly and taking few chances, so this could be a low scoring game.
Cardinals-Seahawks over 50
One of the totals that I do understand is this one, as the wiseguys are taking the Cardinals and Seahawks over 50. The number has moved from 48.5 to 50.
