New England has been challenged with injuries all season, particularly on offense, and was bit again last week when their leading rusher went down.But as long as quarterback Tom Brady remains on the field, they are likely to keep winning.... 

The battle of the backup quarterbacks will likely decide the AFC South when Houston visits Indianapolis. If the Texans are to take control of the woeful division, they’ll have to do something no other team in their history has been able to – win in Indy. The Texans are 0-13 all-time on the Colts home field.... 

Rex Ryan broke his playoff promise to Buffalo and the Bills are likely playing out the string without a postseason invitation for the 16th straight season, the longest drought in the four major pro sports leagues. The Bills can cripple the Redskins’ chances of claiming the NFC East with a win in our nation’s capital, but their recent road woes played a big part in their failures. Buffalo is 0-3 SU and 0-2-1 ATS in their last three road games.... 

The Chiefs eked out a win over the pitiful Chargers last week and face another team that has been decimated by injuries and is looking ahead to next season. Kansas City sits atop the wild card race in the AFC and still has a chance to catch the Broncos in the West Division. Another showing like the one last week, however, could end those dreams.... 

Johnny Football is back and he helped the Browns end a seven-game losing streak last week with a win over the hapless 49ers. The challenge of getting consecutive wins for the first time in over a year is a bit stiffer against the Seahawks, who are 4-0 SU and ATS in their last four with a defense as dominating as their quarterback.... 

The Arizona Cardinals can clinch the NFC West title and, with some help, wrap up a first-round bye in the playoffs by knocking off the Eagles.With back-to-back wins over New England and Buffalo, Philadelphia came within a point of sweeping the AFC East, unfortunately they aren’t in that division and are still battling for the NFC East crown.... 

You aren't going to find better competitors at the quarterback position than Drew Brees and Matt Stafford. Both men have had frustrating seasons this year both from a statistical standpoint and from the standpoint of wins and losses. You might think that a game between the 5-8 Detroit Lions and the 5-8 New Orleans Saints is a dog for Monday Night Football, but there's always a chance these two gunslingers get together to put on a show against the other one's horrible defense.... 

The Philadelphia Eagles have really caused a ruckus in the NFC East over the course of the last two weeks by beating the Patriots and the Bills. If they find a way to beat the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football, we think they'll firmly be the favorites to walk away with their division crown in a year where seemingly nothing has gone right.... 

By just about every metric imaginable, the Arizona Cardinals are the better team on the field on Sunday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams though, have the ability to go out and win their division by playing well these last three weeks of the season. That's why this game is tough to line, and it's even harder to try to figure out who is going to score the first touchdown of this game.... 

Brandon Marshall and Dez Bryant have long been amongst the top wide receivers in the NFL from a statistical standpoint. The Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets both need their top targets to be in fine form on Saturday when they go for a 'W' against each other, and the winner of this fantasy matchup at BookMaker could end up being a big tell as to who is going to win this game.... 

The New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys are both in dire straits heading down the stretch of the season, and both need a win on Saturday night in a bad way to keep their playoff hopes reasonably alive. There's a legitimate chance that the NFL is going to be playing in St. Louis for the very last time on Thursday night. The St. Louis Rams could be in Los Angeles by this time next year, and this is their final home game of the season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.... 

The Jags are knocking on the door of first place in the AFC South and made a statement by dismantling the kings of the division last week. They have a favorable schedule to close out the season, beginning with a tilt against the struggling Falcons, who have lost six straight games and are 0-9 ATS in their last nine.... 

If the Vikings are looking ahead to their showdown with Green Bay in the regular season finale, it could be costly and make that game meaningless. Minnesota has lost three of four and was trounced in its last two home games. The Bears are looking forward to getting out of Chicago after another horrible loss last week. Chicago is 3-0 SU and ATS in its last three road games.... 

Good teams beat bad or mediocre teams, which is exactly what the Jets have done during their first three-game winning streak since 2011. New York must do it again Saturday against the struggling Dallas Cowboys to keep their playoff hopes alive in the congested AFC.... 

The Rams could be playing their final game in St. Louis on Thursday with a move to Los Angeles in the works. Kind of ironic since the fans in the LA area experienced the exact same feeling 20 years ago when the franchise bolted to the Midwest. The Bucs aren’t going anywhere. And that includes the playoffs after last week’s lackadaisical performance in a loss to the Saints.... 

If you strictly look at rushing yards per game this season, there are only three backs averaging more than 90 yards per game in the NFL. Two of those three, Todd Gurley of the St. Louis Rams and Doug Martin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be pitted against each other in one of the awesome fantasy football matchups at BookMaker.eu.... 

Week 14 was a bizarre one in the NFL, as all sorts of favorites and teams which were perceived to be better on the field ended up getting beaten.The results have thrown the playoff picture into flux all over the map, though Week 15 is going to serve as a clarifier for sure for a lot of the open postseason spots.... 

The final quarter of the NFL's season got underway on Thursday night with the Cardinals and Vikings, but that was only the tip of the iceberg of what should be one of the more competitive weeks of play the NFL has had to date. It probably shouldn’t be a primetime matchup. The flailing New York Giants, who are coming off yet another embarrassing fourth-quarter collapse, will attempt to snap a three-game slide and move back atop the NFC East when they visit the Dolphins on Monday Night Football.... 

Seattle’s recent hot streak won’t be enough to get them the NFC West crown, but the Seahawks are the last team anyone wants to play right now. They’ve proven in the past two weeks they can beat quality opponents. Now, they’ll have to prove that they can continue playing well against teams that have nothing to lose.... 

The NFC East is up for grabs and if the Redskins want to claim the division title, they’ll have to win on the road. It will be a challenge since they have yet to do that this season. There is hope against a Bears team that struggles at home. Chicago gift-wrapped a Niners win last week, falling to 1-5 SU and 2-4 ATS at Soldier Field this season.... 

Brock Osweiler has made Denver fans forget all about future HOFer Peyton Manning, leading the Broncos to three straight wins. One more victory can wrap up a fifth consecutive AFC West title. Once in the thick of the playoff hunt, the Raiders have floundered lately and need to end an eight-game losing streak to their rivals to resuscitate any postseason hopes.... 

The Atlanta Falcons have a chance to stop their melt down from reaching historic levels if they can knock off the Panthers. Not an easy thing to do against a team that has won 16 straight regular season games and can clinch a first-round playoff bye. No team since the 1970 merger has started a season 5-0 and finished below .500. There’s a first for everything, right Atlanta.... 

We’ve been trying to write the Cowboys off all season, but the rest of the NFC East just wouldn’t allow that to happen. After their huge Monday night victory, Dallas is within one game of the division lead. A win over the suddenly perplexing Green Bay Packers would go a long way toward keeping their playoff hopes alive....
