UFC Betting Online: Amanda Nunes will defend her women’s bantamweight title, as she takes on Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 213 on Saturday, July 8 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight is a rematch of a bout that took place at UFC 196 last year, in which Nunes won by unanimous decision. The co-headline bout will be an interim middleweight title bout between Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker. Two other marquee matchups for UFC 212 are Robbie Lawler vs. Donald Cerrone and Alistair Overeem vs. Fabricio Werdum.

UFC 213
Amanda Nunes -125 vs. Valentina Shevchenko
Nunes is the current bantamweight champion and comes into this fight with a record of 14-4 overall, including 7-1 in the UFC, while Shevchenko is 14-2 overall, including 3-1 in the UFC. These two fought in March of last year at UFC 196 with Nunes winning by unanimous decision.
Shevchenko said in the press conference for this event that she is promising revenge on Nunes. “You have (until UFC 213) to talk more and it will be finished soon,” Shevchenko said.
Nunes said that she won the first fight for a reason. “I’m the champion for a reason – I will show,” Nunes said. “If this fight would have been five rounds, I would have beat her four (rounds) to one. It would have been the same.”
Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker
The interim middleweight title is up for grabs at UFC 213 with Romero taking on Whittaker. Romero is the No. 1 contender, with Michael Bisping out of action. He is 13-1 in his career, including 8-0 in the UFC. Whittaker is 18-4 in his career and he is unbeaten as a middleweight in the UFC at 6-0.
Robbie Lawler -145 vs. Donald Cerrone
Former UFC welterweight title holder Robbie Lawler takes on Donald Cerrone at UFC 213. Unlike Nunes vs. Shevchenko, this fight is a matchup between fighters who respect one another. Cerrone is 32-7 in his career, including 9-4 in the UFC, while Lawler is 27-11, including 12-5 in the UFC.
“Robbie is old school, been around forever. And so have I. Somebody’s going to lose. But I don’t think Robbie looks at it like that; neither do I,” Cerrone said in the press conference for this event. Cerrone thinks the matchup will be the best one on the card. “Oh, for sure. In my mind it already is,” Cerrone said. “‘Fight of the Everything.’ Fight of my life. Can’t wait, man. I’m (expletive) pumped. It’s going to be exciting. I don’t even know why I need to keep selling this fight.”
Alistair Overeem -140 vs. Fabricio Werdum
Two familiar foes will go off at UFC 213, as Overeem takes on Werdum. This will be the third time these two have faced off, as Werdum beat Overeem in 2006 when the two fought for Pride FC, while it was Overeem winning in 2011 in UFC action.
Werdum said that he can knock out Overeem this time around. “We know Overeem doesn't have that good of a chin now, so I'll focus on it.” Werdum said to Combate. “Sometimes you'll throw a kick or a punch and wherever it lands, that's it. So I'll really focus on his chin, now. I know he'll go down.”
Anthony Pettis vs. Jim Miller
Pettis is 19-6 in his career, while Miller is 28-9-1.
Travis Browne vs. Oleksiy Oliynyk
Browne is 18-6-1, while Oliynyk is 51-10-1.
Jordan Mein vs. Belal Muhammad
Mein is 29-11, while Muhammad is 11-2.
Chad Laprise vs. Brian Camozzi
Laprise is 11-2, while Camozzi is 7-3.
Daniel Omielanczuk vs. Curtis Blaydes
Omielanczuk is 19-7-1, while Blaydes is 7-1.
Thiago Santos vs. Gerald Meerschaert
Santos is 14-5, while Meerschaert is 26-8.
Douglas Silva de Andrade vs. Rob Font
De Andrade is 24-1, while Font is 13-2.
