A heavyweight title fight between current champion Stipe Miocic and challenger Francis Ngannou headlines UFC 260: Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 on Saturday, March 27 at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Miocic comes into this fight at 20-3, winning eight of his last nine fights, while Ngannou is 15-3 and on a four-fight winning streak. These two met at UFC 220 and it was Miocic winning by unanimous decision. Miocic is 20-3 in his career with 15 wins coming by knockout and 5 coming by decision. He is coming off two straight wins against Daniel Cormier. He won by TKO over Cormier in August of 2019 to win the heavyweight title. He defended that title in August of last year and won by unanimous decision against Cormier. Miocic had previously lost to Cormier in July of 2018.

Ngannou is 15-3 in his career with 11 wins coming by knockout and 4 coming by submission. Ngannou is coming off a win against Jairzinho Rozenstruik in May of last year. Ngannou won by TKO against Junior dos Santos in June of 2019. Ngannou won by knockout against Cain Velasquez in June of 2019 and he won by TKO against Cain Velasquez in February of 2019.  Ngannou beat Curtis Blaydes in November of 2018. The last loss for Ngannou came in July of 2018 as he lost a unanimous decision to Derrick Lewis. Ngannou did face Miocic in January of 2018 and lost a unanimous decision.

Miocic was able to handle Ngannou when they met about three years ago, largely because Ngannou couldn’t handle the wrestling of Miocic. Since their last meeting, Miocic has gone 2-1, with all three fights coming against Daniel Cormier. Ngannou had trouble against Derrick Lewis, but has bounced back since with four straight knockout wins.

Another big fight on the card has Alexander Volkanovski defending his featherweight title against Brian Ortega. Volkanovski is 22-1 in his career and unbeaten in the UFC, while Ortega is 15-1 in his career.

Another fight of note has Tyron Woodley taking on Vicente Luque. Woodley is 19-6 in his career but comes in having lost his last three fights, while Luque is 19-7 in his career and he has won two of his last three fights.
