Usman is 19-1 in his career, including 5-0 in his last five fights. He is coming off a KO win against Jorge Masvidal in April. Usman won by TKO against Gilbert Burns in February, won by unanimous decision against Jorge Masvidal in July of last year, won by TKO against Colby Covington in December of 2019, and won by unanimous decision against Tyron Woodley in March of 2019.
Usman has proven that he is strong fighter and has not suffered a loss since May of 2013. It comes as no surprise that he is listed as almost a 3-1 favorite.
Covington is 16-2 in his career, including 4-1 in his last five fights. He is coming off a TKO win against Tyron Woodley in September of last year. Covington won by unanimous decision against Robbie Lawler in August of 2019, won by unanimous decision against Rafael dos Anjos in June of 2018, won by unanimous decision against Demian Maia in October of 2017, and lost to Kamaru Usman by TKO in December of 2019.
Covington has not fought in over a year and he will be trying to avenge his loss to Usman in 2019.
Another big fight has Rose Namajunas taking on Zhang Weili. Namajunas is 10-4 in her career with two wins coming by TKO/KO and five by submission, while Weili is 21-2 in her career with 10 wins coming by TKO/KO and seven by submission.
This will be a rematch for Weili against Namajunas who defeated her by KO in April.
Another key fight has Justin Gaethje facing Michael Chandler. Gaethje is 22-3 in his career with 19 wins coming by TKO/KO and one by submission, while Chandler is 22-6 in his career with 10 wins coming by TKO/KO and seven by submission.
These two have combined for 37 finishes so we should see a lot of action in a very short amount of time.
