Jones is 26-1 in his career, including 5-0 in his last five fights. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Dominick Reyes in February of 2020. Jones won by split decision against Thiago Santos in July of 2019, won by unanimous decision against Anthony Smith in March of 2019, won by KO against Alexander Gustafsson in December of 2018, and won by unanimous decision against Ovince Saint Preux in April of 2016. Jones’ only loss in his career was against Matt Hamill by disqualification in December of 2009.
Gane is 11-1 in his career, including 4-1 in his last five fights. He is coming off a KO win against Tai Tuivasa in September of last year. Gane won by TKO against Derrick Lewis in August of 2021, won by unanimous decision against Alexander Volkov in June of 2021, won by unanimous decision against Jairzinho Rozenstruik in February of 2021, and lost by unanimous decision against Francis Ngannou in January of last year.
Jones has been a machine in the UFC, winning fight after fight, but he is expected to get a big test when he faces Gane. These two have a combined total of 15 knockout wins and nine submission wins.
Another big fight has Valentina Shevchenko taking on Alexa Grasso. Shevchenko is 23-3 in her career with eight wins coming by TKO/KO and seven by submission, while Grasso is 15-3 in her career with four wins by TKO/KO and one by submission.
This fight would appear to be a mismatch, as Shevchenko is heavily favored. Shevchenko and Grasso have a combined total of 12 knockout wins and eight submission wins.
Another key fight has Geoff Neal facing Shavkat Rakhmonov. Neal is 15-4 in his career with nine wins coming by TKO/KO and two by submission, while Rakhmonov is 16-0 in his career with eight wins coming by TKO/KO and eight by submission.
This fight may not last long, as Neal and Rakhmonov have a combined total of 17 knockout wins and 10 submission wins.
