UFC Fight Night 139: Korean Zombie vs. Rodríguez
UFC Fight Night 139 - Korean Zombie vs Rodriguez takes place on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. The card airs live on FS1 following the Fight Pass prelims.
It would have been nice to have Frankie Edgar vs. Chan Sung Yung, but Edgar pulled out so it is now Yair Rodriguez in his place. It is a good thing that the UFC was prepared for a co-main event, as the welterweight meeting between Mike Perry and Donald Cerrone could steal the show. Cerrone’s been struggling lately, but he’s the type of guy that’ll go down swinging. Mike Perry is a welterweight headhunter with killshot power, and he never stops looking for that one big punch that ends the night.
Ray Borg and Joe Benavidez all of a sudden takes on new meaning now that Demetrious Johnson isn’t the flyweight champ. Benavidez has been a top-5 guy for years and owns a win over current titleholder Henry Cejudo. If he beats No. 4 Borg, he’s got a compelling case to meet Cejudo to try and win the strap that’s eluded him for years.
With a nickname like “The Future”, undefeated Maycee Barber is putting some high expectations on herself. After scoring a TKO on Dana White’s Contender Series, let’s see if she’s ready for prime time.

UFC Fight Night 139 Betting Lines, Predictions and Picks
It would have been Edgar favored over Jung, but now that it is Rodriguez in this matchup it is the Korean Zombie who is a slight favorite. Jung is listed as a -135 favorite in this bout against Rodriguez. Oddsmakers usually know what they are doing, so despite the fact that Rodriguez is taking this fight on short notice, he is given a real chance to win.
We hate to say it, but Donald Cerrone’s career seems to be fading fast. He’s been one of the UFC’s most active fighters, but the toll of all the wars he’s been through has left him a bit chinny and somewhat shopworn. Skillswise, he should be able to outstrike a one-dimensional power puncher like Mike Perry, but we’re just not sure if he can hold up against quick, powerful guys anymore.
Don’t blink once Benavidez vs. Borg starts. Flyweights are known to be extraordinarily fast, and this affair should have a lot of crazy scrambles. Benavidez can do it all, but Borg’s ground game is ridiculous.
Germaine de Randamie accidentally became one of the most hated fighters in the UFC after fleeing in the face of Cris Cyborg, and she’ll feel the hate when she laces up against Raquel Pennington. Even so, both women are top-notch strikers, so the hits should come hard and heavy in this one.
