Ankalaev is 17-1-1 in his career, including 4-0-1 in his last five fights. He is coming off a split draw against Jan Blachowicz in December of last year. Ankalaev won by TKO against Anthony Smith in July of last year, won by unanimous decision against Thiago Santos in March of last year, won by unanimous decision against Volkan Oezdemir in October of 2021, and won by unanimous decision against Nikita Krylov in February of 2021. Ankalaev’s only loss in his career was against Paul Craig by triangle choke submission in March of 2018.
Walker is 21-7 in his career, including 3-2 in his last five fights. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Anthony Smith in May. Walker won by TKO against Paul Craig in January, won by rear-naked choke submission against Ion Cu?elaba in September of last year, lost by KO against Jamahal Hill in February of last year, and lost by unanimous decision against Thiago Santos in October of 2021.
Ankalaev and Walker have faced each other before which ended in a no contest in October. These two have some big time power, as Ankalaev and Walker have a combined total of 25 knockout wins, so this fight may not go the distance.
Another big fight has Matheus Nicolau taking on Manel Kape. Nicolau is 19-3-1 in his career with six wins coming by TKO/KO and five by submission, while Kape is 19-6 in his career with 11 wins coming by TKO/KO and five by submission.
