Rakic is 14-2 in his career, including 4-1 in his last five fights. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Thiago Santos in March of last year. Rakic won by unanimous decision against Anthony Smith in August of 2020, won by KO against Jimi Manuwa in June of 2019, won by TKO against Devin Clark in December of 2018, and lost by split decision against Volkan Oezdemir in December of 2019.
Blachowicz and Rakic have a combined total of 17 knockout wins and 10 submission wins. This fight was supposed to take place at the end of March but was postponed to mid-May. Blachowicz will be looking to bounce back from his loss to Teixeira while Rakic will look to keep rolling. Oddsmakers have Rakic listed as a slight favorite in UFC betting odds.
