Costa is 13-1 in his career, including 4-1 in his last five fights. He is coming off a TKO loss against Israel Adesanya in September of last year. Costa won by unanimous decision against Yoel Romero in August of 2019, won by TKO against Uriah Hall in July of 2018, won by TKO against Johny Hendricks in November of 2017, and won by TKO against Oluwale Bamgbose in June of 2017.
Costa has not fought in over a year and it is always a concern with fighters coming off a long layoff, but his overall record of 13-1 is impressive.
Vettori is 17-5-1 in his career, including 4-1 in his last five fights. He is coming off a unanimous decision loss against Israel Adesanya in June. Vettori won by unanimous decision against Kevin Holland in April, won by unanimous decision against Jack Hermansson in December of last year, won by rear-naked choke submission against Karl Roberson in June of last year, and won by unanimous decision against Andrew Sanchez in October of 2019.
Vettori has been on a nice roll, winning four of his last fight fights, but he has yet to prove he can beat a top fighter. The question is whether Costa is a top fighter.
Another big fight has Alex Caceres taking on Seung Woo Choi. Caceres is 18-12 in his career with three wins coming by TKO/KO and six by submission, while Choi is 10-3 in his career with six wins coming by TKO/KO and four by decision.
Caceres has plenty of experience, but he has been up and down in his career, while Choi is still looking to make his mark.
Another key bout has Jessica-Rose Clark facing Joselyne Edwards. Clark is 10-6 in her career with three wins coming by TKO/KO and two by submission, while Edwards is 10-3 in her career with five wins coming by TKO/KO and three by submission.
This fight looks like a toss-up, but Edwards may have the edge simply because of her ability to finish.
