Yan is 15-3 in her career, including 3-2 in her last five fights. She is coming off a split decision loss against Marina Rodriguez in March. Yan won by unanimous decision against Cláudia Gadelha in November of 2020, won by unanimous decision against Karolina Kowalkiewicz in February of 2020, won by unanimous decision against Angela Hill in June of 2019, and lost by TKO against Carla Esparza in May of last year.
Dern and Yan have a combined total of 14 knockout wins and 13 decision wins. Dern is listed as about a 2-1 favorite in UFC betting odds to win this fight.
Another big fight has Cody Garbrandt taking on Rani Yahya. Garbrandt is 12-5 in his career with 10 wins coming by TKO/KO and two by decision, while Yahya is 28-10-1 in his career with 21 wins coming by submission and seven by decision.
