Gane is 11-2 in his career, including 3-2 in his last five fights. He is coming off a guillotine choke submission loss against Jon Jones in March. Gane won by KO against Tai Tuivasa in September of last year, won by TKO against Derrick Lewis in August of 2021, won by unanimous decision against Alexander Volkov in June of 2021, and lost by unanimous decision against Francis Ngannou in January of last year.
Spivak is 16-3 in his career, including 4-1 in his last five fights. He is coming off an arm-triangle choke submission win against Derrick Lewis in February. Spivak won by TKO against Augusto Sakai in August of last year, won by TKO against Greg Hardy in March of last year, won by unanimous decision against Aleksei Oleinik in June of 2021, and lost by TKO against Tom Aspinall in September of 2021.
These two have combined to win 27 fights and 22 of those fights ended by finish, so this fight probably won’t go the distance. Gane and Spivak have a combined total of 12 knockout wins and 10 submission wins. Gane is listed as almost a 2-1 favorite in MMA betting odds.
Another big fight has Manon Fiorot taking on Rose Namajunas. Fiorot is 10-1 in her career with six wins coming by TKO/KO and four by decision, while Namajunas is 11-5 in her career with two wins coming by TKO/KO and five by submission.
There is not much doubt that Fiorot would prefer to keep this fight standing, as she has the edge in terms of striking, while Namajunas has the edge on the mat. Oddsmakers have made Fiorot about a 2-1 favorite in UFC betting odds.
Another key fight has Benoît Saint-Denis facing Thiago Moisés. Saint-Denis is 11-1 in his career with two wins coming by TKO/KO and nine by submission, while Moisés is 17-6 in his career with three wins coming by TKO/KO and eight by submission.
This fight should be one that is decided on the mat. Both of these fighters are confident in their submission skills. Saint-Denis and Moisés have a combined total of five knockout wins and 17 submission wins.
