Vera won by KO against Frankie Edgar in November of last year, won by unanimous decision against Davey Grant in June of last year, won by TKO against Sean O'Malley in August of 2020, and lost by unanimous decision against Jose Aldo in December of 2020.
Cruz is 24-3 in his career, including 3-2 in his last five fights. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Pedro Munhoz in December of last year. Cruz won by split decision against Casey Kenney in March of last year, won by unanimous decision against Urijah Faber in June of 2016, lost by TKO against Henry Cejudo in May of 2020, and lost by unanimous decision against Cody Garbrandt in December of 2016.
These two fighters are very experienced, so this figures to be a good main event. Vera and Cruz have a combined total of 14 knockout wins and nine submission wins, but recently both fighters have been going the distance.
Another big fight has Alexa Grasso taking on Viviane Araújo. Grasso is 14-3 in her career with four wins coming by TKO/KO and one by submission, while Araújo is 11-3 in her career with three wins coming by TKO/KO and four by submission.
This is another excellent matchup, as these two have combined to win 25 fights against just six defeats. Grasso and Araújo have a combined total of seven knockout wins and five submission wins.
Another key fight has Devin Clark facing Azamat Murzakanov. Clark is 13-6 in his career with four wins coming by TKO/KO and one by submission, while Murzakanov is 11-0 in his career with eight wins coming by TKO/KO and one submission.
This is a good test for Murzakanov, as he continues to move up the rankings. Clark and Murzakanov have a combined total of 12 knockout wins and two submission wins so this should be an excellent striking battle.
