Frisco Bowl Lines - UTSA vs. Marshall Odds
UTSA will make its fourth straight and fifth overall bowl appearance when it faces Marshall in the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl. Under the direction of fourth-year head coach Jeff Traylor, the Roadrunners will enter the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl with an 8-4 overall record after finishing third in their debut campaign in the American Athletic Conference with a 7-1 mark. After a 1-3 start, UTSA reeled off seven consecutive victories before nationally ranked and defending conference champion Tulane scored a 29-16 triumph in New Orleans. Marshall, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, is bowl-eligible for the seventh consecutive year after posting a 6-6 record this season under the direction of head coach Charles Huff.

Frisco Bowl Preview
Last game, the UTSA Road Runners lost 29-16 against the Tulane Green Wave as 3.5-point road dogs. The game went under the total of 52. In Traylor’s first season at the helm, the Roadrunners nearly completed a comeback against No. 16 Louisiana in the 2020 First Responder Bowl at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas. UTSA rallied from a 24-7 deficit to tie the game, only to see the Ragin’ Cajuns score a late touchdown and escape with a 31-24 victory.
UTSA met No. 24 San Diego State in the Frisco Bowl on Dec. 21, 2021. The Aztecs pulled away late for a 38-24 victory in the Roadrunners’ third all-time bowl appearance.
Last year at the Cure Bowl, UTSA built a 12-0 first-half lead, but No. 23 Troy rallied for an 18-12 victory in Orlando, Florida.
Last game, the Marshall won 35-21 against the Arkansas State Red Wolves as 1.5-point home favorites. The game went over the total of 53.5. Marshall has a record of 6-6 straight up, 4-8 against the spread, and 6-6 over/under the total. Marshall ranks 89th for total offense, 66th for passing, 94th for rushing and 93rd for scoring. Frisco Bowl Format
Founded in 2017, the Frisco Bowl is held at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Toyota Stadium is a soccer stadium that hosts FC Dallas of the Major League Soccer. In 2022, Boise State defeated North Texas 35-32. Taylen Green threw for 137 yards and a TD. Ashton Jeanty ran for 178 yards and a TD while Green added 119 yards and two TDs.
