UFL Conference Championships Betting

After a thrilling final weekend of the regular season, the UFL heads to Conference Championship Weekend. Ironically, the playoff games are precise rematches of the regular season finales. The Birmingham Stallions and Michigan Panthers will run it back at Protective Stadium in Birmingham on Saturday. And then on Sunday the St. Louis Battlehawks will host the San Antonio Brahmas at The Dome in St. Louis for the second consecutive weekend. In Week 10, the Stallions needed a late TD pass to get past the Panthers. Meanwhile, the Battlehawks barely got past the Brahmas in a game that was for home field advantage for this week.

The D.C. Defenders, Arlington Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, and Memphis Showboats have headed home for the year.

Now, let’s get ready for Conference Championship Weekend with a review of Week 10.

The Memphis Showboats secured a 19-12 victory over the Houston Roughnecks in a defensive battle. With the win, the Showboats finish the season at 2-8, while the Roughnecks drop to 1-9.

The Showboats will now have the first pick in the 2025 UFL Draft.

Despite a strong performance from quarterback Nolan Henderson, who completed 21 of 34 passes for 232 yards, the Roughnecks failed to score a touchdown.

The Showboats were led by running back Darius Victor, who scored both of the team’s touchdowns and rushed for 54 yards on ten carries. Quarterback Josh Love completed 20 of 29 passes for 152 yards and an interception.

The Arlington Renegades (3-7) narrowly defeated the D.C. Defenders (4-6) by a score of 32-31 in a tightly contested UFL game. Both teams played well with nothing on the line to finish the season. The Renegades were led by quarterback Luis Perez, who had an up-and-down game. Quarterback Jordan Ta’amu had a solid game for the Defenders, but it wasn’t enough:

The Renegades finished the season at 3-7 on the season, and last in the XFL Conference standings. The Defenders fall to 4-6 and finish 3rd in the XFL Conference.

The St. Louis Battlehawks hosted the San Antonio Brahmas in a Week 10 UFL game and will do so again next week for the XFL Conference Championship game. The Battlehawks emerged victorious with a narrow 13-12 win in a low-scoring affair. Another UFL game that came down to a last-second field goal miss.

With this result, both teams now have a 7-3 record in the XFL Conference, but since the Battlehawks beat the Brahmas earlier this season, they hold to the tiebreaker.

The Brahmas struggled to find their rhythm on offense, with quarterbacks Chase Garbers and Quinten Dormady combining for only 237 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Quarterback A.J. McCarron led the Battlehawks with 115 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The team’s ground game was more effective, with Jacob Saylors and Wayne Gallman combining for 91 rushing yards.

The Birmingham Stallions (9-1) narrowly defeated the Michigan Panthers (7-3) by a score of 20-19 in a closely contested UFL game. With this victory, the Stallions finish the season as the top team in the UFL. The teams face each other again next week in the USFL Conference championship game. A last-second missed field goal by the Panthers, Jake Bates, was the difference.

QB Adrian Martinez led the Stallions’ offense, completing 14 of 28 passes for 163 yards and one touchdown.

QB Danny Etling had a solid performance for the Panthers, completing 16 of 31 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown while also rushing for 36 yards and one TD.

Memphis head coach John DeFilippo, who also called plays on offense all year, gave that up to the team’s offensive coordinator, Doug Martin, for the final game. According to the media, it was done in part so that DeFilippo could better evaluate all aspects of the team in the season finale but also because of Martin’s relationship with the starting QB, Josh Love. Though Memphis won the game, they averaged about 30 yards less per game on offense, and they were basically right on their average points per game for the season.
