The Michigan Panthers will attempt to close their home slate in style in the season finale against the division rival Roughnecks who they tallied two of seven overall wins against after busting out the brooms last year. Mike Nolan’s squad cruised to the 34-20 win and cover as 3-point home favorites in the first meeting, and followed it up with a 26-22 win at Houston in Week 8. Though the Roughnecks covered the closing 4.5-point spread in the rematch, it was a tough defeat to swallow considering C.J. Johnson’s men failed to seal the deal regardless of holding a 22-12 fourth quarter lead. Both matchups allowed for total bettors to cash over tickets with the teams combining for an average of 51 points per game.
Sunday’s doubleheader kicks off from the Alamodome for a solid Lone Star State matchup between the Renegades and Brahmas. San Antonio won and covered the UFL odds in both matchups last season, so you can bet your bottom dollar Bob Stoops will have his men ready to go for the season finale. Each matchup proved to be competitive and low scoring. The Week 5 tilt saw the Brahmas log the 25-15 win and cover as 2.5-point road chalk with the 40 combined points just coming up short of the closing 42.5-point total. The rematch in the dome saw Arlington drop a tough 20-15 decision as 2.5-point road dogs regardless of holding the Brahmas scoreless in the second half. The 35 overall points tallied never threatened the 44.5-point Over/Under.
Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium will be the venue for the final UFL betting matchup of the 2025 regular season. It’s uncertain as to if that’s a good thing or not considering how uncompetitive the Showboats proved to be against their USFL Division rivals a season ago with Birmingham winning and covering both matchups with relative ease. The Stallions pulled away in the second half of their Week 3 meeting turning a competitive 18-12 halftime score into a 33-14 win and cover after outscoring Memphis 15-2 in the second half. The rematch was a blowout early after Birmingham tallied 22 second quarter points allowing them to coast to the 39-21 win and cover as 12.5-point road favorites. Both tilts cashed easy over tickets with an average of 53.5 points denting the board.
