It is somewhat surprising that a big name has not won this event, as many top name golfers have played in the tournament including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth, Tom Watson, Nick Faldo, Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia. The marquee name that has won this tournament is Cabrera but Cabrera has never been a big star in the United States. Schauffele did get the win in 2017 and he is almost to the point of being a marquee name.
