European Tour Golf Betting Odds: If you’re looking for the best advice for golf odds, you’ve certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook we’re previewing the Trophée Hassan II, which takes place from May 5th through May 8th, 2016 at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Morocco, featuring Richie Ramsay, Alejandro Cañizares, Marcel Siem and Michael Hoey.
Richie Ramsay is the defending champion at the Trophée Hassan II, which takes place from May 5th through May 8th, 2016 at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Morocco. Considering his performance at this event last year, Ramsay could be among the golfers favored this year in golf odds.
Richie Ramsay shot a 10-under at the 2015 Trophée Hassan II, defeating runner-up Romain Wattel by one stroke. The victory marked the Scottish player’s third European Tour win of his career and his fifth overall. It was also his first in three years. Ramsay won the Omega European Masters in 2012 and captured his first European Tour victory at the South African Open Championship in 2009. Should he return to this event again this year in Morocco, Ramsay will definitely be looking to defend his title.
Other recent champions at the Trophée Hassan II include Alejandro Cañizares, Marcel Siem and Michael Hoey. Cañizares won in 2014 with a score of 19-under 269. The victory was his second European Tour win of his career. Cañizares also won the Imperial Collection Russian Open back in 2006. The 33-year-old came close to victory twice more in 2010, but fell short at the Iberdrola Open Cala Millor Mallorca and the Alstom Open de France that year, losing in a playoff at both events. Siem was the 2013 winner at the Trophée Hassan II, finishing at 17-under that year. The German player has captured five wins in his career with four coming on the European Tour. His most recent victory came at the BMW Masters in 2014 where he finished at 16-under 272 and defeated Ross Fisher and Alexander Lévy in a playoff with a birdie on the first extra hole. Siem also won the Alstom Open de France in 2012 and captured his first European Tour victory back in 2004 at the Dunhill Championship. Hoey also shot a 17-under to win the Trophée Hassan II, taking home the title in 2012. The 37-year-old has claimed eight professional titles so far in his career with five of those coming on the European Tour. Hoey’s most recent win was at the M2M Russian Open back in 2013 where he finished with a score of 16-under and defeated the field by four strokes. The Northern Ireland native also won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and Madeira Islands Open in 2011 and won his first European Tour tournament back in 2009 at the Estoril Open de Portugal.
This Trophée Hassan II made its debut in 1971 and became part of the European Tour in 2010. The 2016 field has not yet been decided in golf odds.

How to bet on Trophée Hassan II
The odds of a golfer to win the Trophée Hassan II will generally look something like:
- Tiger Woods + 150
- Phil Mickelson + 250
- Steve Stricker + 300
- Jeff Overton + 700
- Ernie Els + 700
- Field + 600
These betting odds will be lower when betting on a golfer to finish in the top three, as the sportsbook must pay off three different winning bets.
A player would have to bet $10 to win $150 that Tiger Woods will win the Trophée Hassan II, while the bettor wagering on Jeff Overton stands to win $70 on their $10 wager.
Another commonly placed bet in European Golf golf is head-to-head finish between two players. With this bet, a player doesn't really care what place the golfer finishes in, as long as the golfer wagered on finishes higher than the other golfer.
A head-to-head betting line for the Trophée Hassan II will look something like:
- Tiger Woods - 190 Steve Stricker + 150
In this bet, players wagering on Woods to finish higher than Stricker will be asked to risk $19 to win $10, while bettors believing that Stricker will finish higher than Woods will bet $10 to win $15.
Those familiar with sports betting will have no trouble making the transition to European Golf golf wagering, while those new to the world of sports betting should be able to pick up the concepts of European golf betting without to much trouble.
