LIV Golf Invitational Boston Betting
The fourth LIV Golf event takes place from Friday, September 2 through Sunday, September 4 in Boston, Massachusetts. The LIV Golf Invitational Boston will once again be a 54-hole event with normal scoring and no cut and also include team play. The LIV Tour started with a few big names in London, including Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson and it continues to expand, as this week the big name joining the LIV Tour is World No. 2 Cameron Smith. The LIV Tour now includes Smith, Johnson, Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed, Joaquin Niemann, among others. Johnson has been the betting favorite in each of the first three LIV Golf events, but he has yet to win. Johnson is not the favorite to win in Boston, as that honor goes to Cameron Smith. Charl Schwartzel won the first event, Branden Grace the second event and Henrik Stenson the third event. LIV Golf Invitational Boston will have a 48-man field that will also include team play with 12 teams of four players each.

The Oaks Course at the International Golf Club was designed by Geoffrey Cornish in 1957 and redesigned by Robert Trent Jones. It should be a good test for the players, as accuracy is important, as the course is tree-lined, with thousands of tall pines, but distance will also play well, as the course can be stretched out to play at 8,325 yards.
The LIV Golf Invitational Boston event will have the strongest field so far of the four LIV events. The favorite to win the Boston event is Cameron Smith who will be playing in his first LIV Golf event. Dustin Johnson had been the favorite in the previous three events, but he is now the second choice in the betting. Another newcomer to LIV Golf this week is Joaquin Niemann, and he is the third choice in the golf betting odds. All other golfers are listed at odds of 14-1 or higher. It should be noted that there will also be a team competition during this tournament with 12 teams of four players each.
The field size for LIV Golf events is currently set at 48 players and with more players joining LIV it means that some players will not make the field. Two players who played in the first LIV event, Pablo Larrazabal and Oliver Bekker have now returned to the DP World Tour.
