LIV Golf Invitational Portland Betting
The second LIV Golf event takes place from Thursday, June 30 through Saturday, July 2 in Portland, Oregon. The LIV Golf Invitational Portland will once again be a 54-hole event with normal scoring and no cut and also include team play. The LIV Tour started with a few big names in London, including Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson and for this second event in Portland, it will have a few more recognizable names including Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed. Johnson was the favorite to win the first event in London, but it was Charl Schwartzel getting the win. Johnson is once again getting a lot of attention in terms of LIV betting odds, as he is listed as the 6-1 favorite.

Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is located in North Plains, Oregon which is just outside of Portland. The club opened 30 years ago and it hosted the U.S. Women’s Open in 1997 and 2003. The Ghost Creek course hosted the Safeway Classic on the LPGA Tour from 2009 to 2012. The Witch Hollow course has hosted the WinCo Foods Portland Open on the Korn Ferry Tour since 2014. The Ghost Creek course first opened in 1992 and it was named the fourth most popular course in the Northwest. Witch Hollow opened in 1992 and was ranked as one of the top 100 modern courses in the United States.

The favorite to win the Portland event is Dustin Johnson at odds of 6-1. Oddsmakers are starting to figure things out with the LIV Tour but they are still behind the curve. They had Johnson listed at 4-1 to win the first event in London, despite the fact that Johnson has not played well for much of this season. Johnson didn’t play that well in London, finishing in 8th place, yet he is still getting a ton of respect at golf betting odds of 6-1.
No other players are listed at single-digit odds, so Johnson is still getting too much respects. Louis Oosthuizen is the second choice in the betting at odds of 10-1, while Abraham Ancer is listed with odds of 11-1. Talor Gooch was a bit of a bust in London, finishing in 9th place, but he is still getting respect at odds of 12-1. Brooks Koepka is a big name, but he hasn’t played well this season and he is also listed at odds of 12-1. Sergio Garcia and Bryson DeChambeau are two other big names and they are listed with odds of 16-1. The other two players listed at odds of less than 20-1 are Kevin Na and Patrick Reed at odds of 18-1.
