Chelsea F.C. English Premier League Odds
They might not have much history, but Chelsea has made a name for itself over the past 15 years. The West London club’s fortunes have changed remarkably under the stewardship of Roman Abramovich. Prior to his arrival, the Blues had only been able to grab one league title in the top flight of English football, and they had only finished in the top three a total of five times over the span of nearly 100 years.
Thanks to Abramovich’s massive investment in the club, Chelsea has been arguably the most successful English club over the last 15 years. They have won five Premier League titles during that stretch, and they have finished in the top three on seven other occasions. The Blues have now successfully supplanted Everton as one of the Big Five clubs in English football.
Chelsea has been able to find success outside of league play too. The Blues have won eight FA Cups (five of those in the last 12 years), a Europa League title, and a Champions League title. This is now one of the most well-known football clubs in the world.

Chelsea has seen its place in the table fluctuate wildly over the past five years. The Blues had an abysmal 2015-16 campaign, finishing 10th, but they were bookended that finish with Premier League titles in 2014-15 and 2016-17.
Last year was something of a disappointment for Chelsea. The Blues failed to qualify for the Champions League despite a strong start, and now they must deal with the rigors of playing in the Europa League. That was supposed to spell the end for manager Antonio Conte, but he is still the manager a month before the season is set to start. It’s anyone’s guess whether or not he will be the manager by the start of the season though.
The Blues have been linked to a number of players during the summer transfer period, and it sounds like Abramovich is ready to spend lavishly to ensure the club makes it back to the Champions League this season with a top four finish. Chelsea might be the most difficult club to predict though due to all the uncertainty surrounding them.
