Manchester United F.C. English Premier League Odds
No English club can match Manchester United in terms of its history. The Red Devils are the most decorated team in English football, winning a plethora of trophies in nearly 100 seasons of top flight football. Manchester United have won 20 league championships (more than any other club), 12 FA Cups, five League Cups, and 21 Charity Shields. They have had plenty of success in Europe too, winning the predecessor to the Champions League three times and the Europa League title once.
The Red Devils became the dominant team in England right after the Premier League was founded. Manchester United won eight of the first 11 Premier League titles and cemented their status as the team to beat in England during that time. Their success has led to them being listed as the most valuable club in the world, and they may be the most supported team in the world as well.
It took some time for Manchester United to get back on its feet after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. Ferguson had been the club’s manager for almost three decades, and his name was synonymous with the team. David Moyes, Ryan Giggs, and Louis Van Gaal tried and failed to replicate his success, but it looks like Jose Mourinho has turned the corner.

Love him or hate him, Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world. He has had some measure of success everywhere he has managed, even leading Porto and Inter Milan to Champions League titles. His brash personality rubs many players, fans, and commentators the wrong way, but you can’t argue with his results.
Mourinho is entering his third season as manager of Manchester United. While his first year on the job was something of a wash, the Red Devils posted a good enough record to win the Premier League in most circumstances in 2017-18.
The Red Devils brought in Fred and Diego Dalot as transfers during the summer window, but there is the sense that the club has yet to make its biggest splash. Don’t be surprised if Manchester United acquires a big name prior to the start of the season in their quest to unseat city rival Manchester City.
