There are set to be 19 teams in Liga MX this season. Veracruz avoided relegation by paying a massive fee to remain in Liga MX despite winning zero games in Clausura 2019, and Lobos BUAP’s spot was purchased by Juarez.
Tigres UANL, Leon, and America are three of the favorites to win the league this year. UANL have been one of the most impressive teams this decade, winning five league titles, while Leon and America were both great last season.
