  • BookMaker.eu The Michigan Wolverines and the South Carolina Gamecocks met in this game five years ago. That game gave us one of the most memorable moments of bowl season as Jadeveon Clowney delivered “The Hit” midway through the fourth quarter. Clowney ran untouched past the line of scrimmage and blew up Vincent Smith in the backfield. The hit knocked Smith’s helmet off and forced a fumble that Clowney picked up with one hand. It was an amazing play that will be shown multiple times during the broadcast of this game....

  • BookMaker.eu The Memphis Tigers will join the other teams that are fortunate enough to have a virtual home game for their bowl. Memphis won’t be traveling anywhere this holiday season and instead will welcome the Iowa State Cyclones to its place two days before the new year. This will be the first ever meeting between these two schools and it should be a good one. Both teams surpassed expectations and can make their fan bases very happy with a win here....

  • BookMaker.eu This will probably be the last time we see Lamar Jackson. Jackson has been outright phenomenal in each of these last two seasons. He won the Heisman Trophy after an amazing performance last year, and he was one of the finalists this season even though he arguably had an even better year. He has led the Louisville Cardinals to new heights during his three seasons on campus and will look for one last win when they take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs....

  • BookMaker.eu The Northwestern Wildcats just got some great news. Clayton Thorson announced that he plans to return for his senior season and will play in the bowl game too. Thorson was considered one of the best quarterback prospects, and there was talk that he could be selected in the first three rounds if he came out this season. Now that he is staying, the Wildcats can get pack to the task at hand, knocking off the Kentucky Wildcats....

  • BookMaker.eu The New Mexico State Aggies are back in a bowl game for the first time since 1960. It’s been a bittersweet year for the program as this will be its last year in the Sun Belt, but getting to a bowl game for the first time in nearly six decades is a great feeling. Interestingly enough, the last time New Mexico State was in a bowl game it took on its opponent in this game, the Utah State Aggies. Back then, New Mexico State emerged victorious 20-13 in the Sun Bowl, but Utah State is planning on a di...

  • BookMaker.eu No team made a stranger hire than the Arizona State Sun Devils this offseason. Parting ways with Todd Graham after he went 7-5 and beat Washington was curious enough, but hiring Herm Edwards to replace him raised eyebrows throughout the college football world. Edwards is going to have his work cut out for him as he has not been a head coach for a decade and will have to hit the ground running. He will face a tough test in his first game as the North Carolina State Wolfpack have no such turnover to worry about....

  • BookMaker.eu The Oklahoma State Cowboys are looking to post their third straight 10-3 season. Oklahoma State has been one of the best teams in the Big 12 during the Mike Gundy era and he was able to take the program to new heights after Les Miles left for LSU. Currently, the Cowboys are sitting at 9-3 and need to beat the Virginia Tech Hokies to pick up that 10th win. They are favored to do so, but the Hokies gave us one of the best comebacks of bowl season last year and have put together a great season of their own....

  • BookMaker.eu The Texas A&M Aggies made a massive financial commitment last month. Texas A&M had given up on Kevin Sumlin and started to flirt with Jimbo Fisher at the beginning of November. Although some thought that landing Fisher was a pipe dream, a fully guaranteed 10-year $75 million dollar deal was enough to convince Fisher to head to College Station. Now, expectations at Texas A&M are sky high for next season and the Aggies will try to head into the offseason on the right foot with a win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.Watch the Belk Bowl live on Friday, December 29, 2017, at 1 p.m. ET at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. This game will be broadcast on ESPN....

  • BookMaker.eu The Stanford Cardinal ran into some trouble at the start of the season, but closed out strong. Stanford lost two of its first three games and was considered out of the national title picture pretty early on in the year. The Cardinal finished the year looking like one of the best teams in the country though, beating Washington and Notre Dame on their way to winning the PAC 12 North. The TCU Horned Frogs were seen as one of the teams that could get to the College Football Playoff, but they couldn’t get past the Oklahoma Sooners. They lost twice to Oklahoma and that left them outside the playoff picture....

  • BookMaker.eu If you can’t get into one of the New Year’s Six bowls, the best place to go for the holidays is the eponymous Holiday Bowl. The Michigan State Spartans are glad to be back in a good bowl game after a disastrous 2016 campaign. Sparty went 3-9 last year and was looking for redemption this season. They found it by going 9-3 and knocking off in-state rival Michigan once again....

  • BookMaker.eu Since Ken Niumatalolo became the head coach of the Navy Midshipmen a decade ago, the program has had an amazing amount of continued success. Navy has won at least eight games in eight of those 10 seasons and finished tied for first place in the AAC West in 2015 and 2016. Unfortunately, this season Navy had some troubles, but did manage to get to a bowl. Now they need to beat the Virginia Cavaliers to avoid what would be the program’s second losing season during Niumatalolo’s tenure....

  • BookMaker.eu Early on in the 2017 season, it looked like the Missouri Tigers might miss their second straight bowl game this year. But, after starting the season at 1-5, the Tigers have now won six straight and arrive at the Foster Farms Bowl with lots of momentum....

  • BookMaker.eu The Arizona Wildcats have one of the most dynamic players in college football at quarterback. The Purdue Boilermakers have a top-shelf defense. Something will have to give when these teams face off in the Foster Farms Bowl in late December....

  • BookMaker.eu The bowl season is known for entertaining contests between teams that don’t usually meet, and the Pinstripe Bowl could feature that this year. The Iowa Hawkeyes and Boston College Eagles are from different conferences but seem pretty even in talent level as they prepare to face off in this postseason showdown....

  • BookMaker.eu The Florida State Seminoles have now broken the record for most consecutive seasons with a bowl appearance. FSU’s win over Louisiana-Monroe on December 2 gave it the magical sixth win it needed to get into bowl season and now the Seminoles have been bowling for 36 straight seasons. Now, another potential record is in their sights. FSU has posted a winning record in 40 straight years. The Seminoles need a win over the Southern Miss Golden Eagles to get to 7-6 and extend that streak....

  • BookMaker.eu The Toledo Rockets have been the most consistent team in the MAC this decade, but had yet to win the MAC Championship before this season. They erased all that heartache in a big way, hammering Akron in the MAC Championship Game 45-28 and claiming their first MAC tile in 13 years. Now, they will look to notch a 12-win season, when they take on the Appalachian State Mountaineers, a team they are familiar with from a bowl game in the Yellowhammer State last year....

  • BookMaker.eu The Army Black Knights have had their most successful season in two decades and are looking to win 10 games for just the second time in school history. Army is sitting at 9-3 and only one of the losses was uncompetitive, a 38-7 drubbing at the hands of Ohio State....

  • BookMaker.eu For the second straight season, Craig Bohl has taken the Wyoming Cowboys to a bowl game. The former North Dakota State head coach was seen as a home run hire for the Cowboys and has turned this program after a couple transition seasons. He is now looking to win his first bowl game ever and his Cowboys are slight favorites to do so. The Central Michigan Chippewas won’t be a pushover though....

  • BookMaker.eu Charlie Strong had a pretty successful season in his first year as head coach of the South Florida Bulls. South Florida had been one of the rising stars in the AAC under Willie Taggart and Strong was able to keep the momentum going with a 9-2 record. Now, he will attempt to lead the Bulls to their second straight season with 10 or more wins. They will need to beat Kliff Kingsbury’s Texas Tech Red Raiders in order to get there....

  • BookMaker.eu It looks like we will get at least one more chance to see Josh Rosen at the collegiate level. Rosen, the quarterback that should be the No. 1 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, has returned to practice and looks like he will actually play in the Cactus Bowl for the UCLA Bruins. He has been lights out this season and pretty much willed the team to the postseason on his own. A back injury knocked him out of the season finale against Cal, but he returned to practice last week and appears set to play against the Kansas State Wildcats....

  • BookMaker.eu David Cutcliffe has done it again. Cutcliffe has now taken the Duke Blue Devils to a bowl game in five of the last six seasons and will look to pick up his second bowl win at Duke. The Blue Devils are favorites to knock off the Northern Illinois Huskies, another team who has struggled in bowl season. Northern Illinois missed out on a bowl last season, but lost four straight bowl games from 2012-2015 and three of those losses were by at least three touchdowns....

  • BookMaker.eu The Florida Atlantic Owls are the biggest favorite of bowl season. Lane Kiffin’s offense has been virtually unstoppable this season and the Owls are looking to cap their season off the right way. Florida Atlantic already won the Conference USA Title and now the Owls have a chance to cap off their best season ever with a bowl win at home. Their opponent will be the Akron Zips, the MAC East Champion who has surprised teams and experts all season long....

  • BookMaker.eu The inaugural Frisco Bowl should be well attended considering the proximity of the two teams involved. The SMU Mustangs are happy to be bowling again. SMU was considered a dumpster fire after the way June Jones left the program a few seasons ago, but has rebounded quite nicely and finished 7-5. A bowl victory would be the cherry on top of a successful season. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will try to make sure that doesn’t happen....

  • BookMaker.eu The Ohio Bobcats continue to be a solid team under Frank Solich even though they have yet to win a MAC Championship. Ohio had one of its best teams yet of the Solich era this season, but closed out the year with a thud and now has a heap of injuries heading into this game. As for the UAB Blazers, it’s been a storybook season. UAB was not only competitive in its first year back playing football, but finished the season with an 8-4 record and nearly played for the Conference USA Championship. Now, Bill Clark is hoping to give UAB a proper sendoff....

  • BookMaker.eu It was a tale of two seasons for the Temple Owls. It looked like Temple was going to have a long season under first year head coach Geoff Collins in the month of September. The Owls were blown out by Notre Dame and South Florida and struggled to get past both Villanova and Massachusetts. However, Collins was able to get this team to respond and the Owls ended up making a bowl after winning three of their last four. Now, he is looking to secure a winning record when his team takes on the Florida International Golden Panthers....
