Arlington Renegades UFL 2025 Season Betting
The Arlington Renegades entered the UFL’s debut season the reigning XFL champions after disposing of the DC Defenders 35-26 as hefty underdogs. UFL betting expectations were high for Bob Stoops’ squad coming off the title game win, but the team grossly failed to live up to them after compiling a poor 3-7 straight up (SU) record which saw them bring up the rear of the XFL Division standings. That being said, the Renegades still proved to be one of the more come competitive teams in the league evidenced by their 6-4 record against the closing UFL odds. Arlington’s seven defeats came by just 5.9 points on average.
Despite Luis Perez returning under center for 2025 after leading the league in passing, along with his full group of pass catchers, the crypto sportsbook remains bearish on the Renegades, as reflected by their current +1067 odds to win the UFL title. The team will have a golden opportunity to silence the non-believers in Week 1 when they welcome the defending XFL Division champion San Antonio Brahmas into Choctaw Stadium. Arlington got swept by their division rivals last season, so it goes without saying how amped the team will be for its home opener – especially after last year’s slow start killed any shot of repeating.

Arlington Renegades UFL Week 1 Matchup
On Saturday, March 29, 2025, the Arlington Renegades will take on the San Antonio Brahmas from Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, TX. Kickoff time is set for 4 p.m. ET with television coverage on FOX. The Renegades will undoubtedly take to their home field in Week 1 with a heavy chip on their shoulder after allowing the Brahmas to bust the brooms out on the team’s pair of run-ins a season ago. The first encounter occurred in Week 5 at Arlington where the Brahmas scored the 25-15 win and UFL betting line cover as 2.5-point road favorites. The 40 combined points just fell under the closing 42.5-point Over/Under (O/U).
After the defense allowed San Antonio to shred them on the ground in the first showdown for 190 yards and 7.9 yards per carry, the defense did a much better job shutting the Brahmas running game down limiting them to only 73 yards and 2.6 yards per carry in the rematch. Unfortunately, the offense failed to make an appearance in the Alamodome until it was too late. Trailing 20-3 at the break, Arlington shut the hosts out in the second half but only scored 12 points to fall by a 20-15 final count as 2.5-point underdogs. The game played to another low scorer with the 35 total points falling well under the closing 45.5-point O/U.
Arlington Renegades 2024 Season Recap
After opening their 2024 campaign with an uncompetitive 27-14 loss to the eventual UFL champion Birmingham Stallions, the Renegades brought their “A” game to the field the next two weeks against XFL Division rivals St. Louis and DC. Unfortunately, the endgames of both matchups still resulted in tough-to-swallow defeats after falling 27-24 to the BattleHawks as 5-point road dogs and 29-28 as 1.5-point home dogs to the Defenders. It wasn’t until Week 7 that the team tasted the thrill of its first victory after taking the wood to the Memphis Showboats in a 47-23 romp. Arlington would go on to win three of its final four games, but the damage had already been done ultimately ending the year in the Week 10 concluder – a 32-31 win at DC.
As disappointing the regular season proved to be, there were still some nice stories to come out of Arlington’s camp. Perez led the league in passing throwing for 2,310 yards to clock in as the only field general to exceed the 2,000 passing yard plateau. He also threw for a league-high 18 touchdown passes. Though no longer on the team, De’Veon Smith racked up 451 rushing yards and 3 TD placing third in that stat category. Arlington’s pass catchers flourished as well. Sal Cannella proved to be the primary target reeling in 53 catches for 497 yards and 6 TD, while Tyler Vaughns went for 503 receiving yards and 3 TD. Ja’Vonta Payton turned his 23 catches into 379 yards and 5 TD. All three receivers return for the 2025 campaign.
