With LIV using the tagline, “Golf, but Louder,” I guess it’s only fitting the field heads to Sin City this week for the inaugural LIV Golf Las Vegas. The season got off to a blistering start with prized acquisition Jon Rahm showing why he’s one of if not the best player in the world. He didn’t win but I think it’s safe to say the debut of Jon Rahm was a smashing success. In his first LIV event the Spaniard finished one-shot off the pace in third, and his new team Legion XIII claimed the title. All in all it was a profitable few days for Rahm. Once again the heavy favorite in the outright market, Rahm goes for his first individual victory when the field assembles in the Nevada desert for this week’s LIV Golf Las Vegas. It’s a new stop for LIV and I guess you’ve arrived on the sports scene when Vegas plays host to one of your events. If the opening tournament was a preview of things to come LIV Golf will have an excellent year.
