The teams met in Week 16 of the regular season with the Baltimore Ravens in the middle of a run that got them the AFC North title. They stifled the Los Angeles Chargers with a smothering defense that limited the Bolts to fewer than 200 total yards while pestering Philip Rivers all afternoon. Rookie Lamar Jackson has been sensational since taking over, saving the Ravens’ season and John Harbaugh’s job in the process. Jackson literally ran the Ravens to the playoffs, now he’ll look to get past the Bolts for a second time in three weeks. ... 

The NFL’s top running team against the league’s rushing leader should amount to plenty of attempts on the ground when the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys meet in the first NFC Wild Card game on Saturday. Both teams had already qualified for the postseason ahead of last week’s games and they won their finale, but the Cowboys might have a little more momentum after a stirring comeback over the Giants. Meanwhile, Seattle struggled to beat the 3-win Cardinals at home. ... 

After tying for last in the AFC South last season at 4-12, the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans completed the turnaround on Sunday, winning their season-ending games to return to the postseason. The Texans were already in and needed a victory to clinch the division title. They beat the Jags to do that. Facing a win-and-in game against another division foe, the Colts won for the ninth time in 10 games to claim the final wild card spot. Yes Marion, defense is still played in the NFL. Or it could be some inept offensive teams still exist. A mix of both was on full display in Northern California over the weekend. The Bears can do some damage in the playoffs with their smothering defense and they locked down on the Niners to secure an under win for us on the total. Teasing the lines perfectly last week allowed us to cash a winning ticket on our four-team card. We’ll look to close out the season on a strong note by beating the house again in Week 17. What makes last week special is that three of the four games we teased would have won without moving the line or spread. The Ravens were a 4.5-point dog on the opening line and they won outright, so we didn’t need the extra points. We also took the under on the Bears-Niners game, which easily fell below the tot... 

It turns out we were right and so was the betting public on two of our fade plays from last week. Two games pushed the spread and we happened to pick them both, siding with the Lone Star state teams in last week’s matchups. Houston was a 2-point dog on the closing line against the defending champs and the Texans were that close to getting a road victory, only to lose 32-30 on field goal with no time left. Coming off a huge win over the Rams the week before and playing at home, Philadelphia was getting plenty of support from the public. We backed the Cowboys in their game with the Tampa Bay, despite the Bucs getting 7-points and plenty of play on the early line. So what happens? Of course, the Boys win 27-20. We backed Oakland on Monday night and the Raiders gave us a victory by winning outright as a 2.5-point pup. ... 

It turned into a profitable week for us on our money line parlay card as all five of our selections came through to give us a winning ticket. After being stung with big favorites losing outright in previous weeks, there were no such problems. The Rams came through with a win over the hapless Cardinals and the Patriots picked up a victory at home over the Bills. Both teams ended two-game losing streaks as they prepare for the postseason. Our other favorite had a more difficult time, but the Bears... 

The scenario is simple for the Baltimore Ravens. Win in Week 17 and an improbable comeback to the season will be complete with the AFC North title and return to the postseason. But knocking off the Cleveland Browns isn’t as easy as it’s been in years past. The emergence of Baker Mayfield along with a midseason coaching change has the Browns looking for their first winning season since 2007 and they already have a win over the Ravens from earlier in the year. If Baltimore is to claim the division... 

It doesn’t matter how you get in the playoffs as long as you get there. The Minnesota Vikings are faced with a win and you’re in situation in their Week 17 matchup with the Chicago Bears, though they can enter the postseason through the backdoor if other wild card hopefuls lose. But the Vikings would rather get it done on their own and not worry about anyone else. Beating the Bears in the regular season finale would certainly be a huge confidence boost for a club many expected to be fighting for...
