Old School Meets New School
With the start of the 2024 NFL season a few months away it’s time to start talking about futures odds and the market is robust. There are Super Bowl odds, conference odds and even division champion odds. You can also wager on whether or not a team will make the playoffs at the conclusion of the 2024 NFL regular season. Those are just some of the team futures with another market devoted entirely to individuals. The NFL expanded its playoff field starting at the conclusion of the 2020 regular season with one additional wild card added to each conference. And since then we’ve seen two teams qualify for the postseason with a losing record and several others compete for the Lombardi Trophy with a record of 9-8. ...
Following all of the hype and fireworks regarding the 2024 NFL Draft, the reality is that not much has changed. The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs are favored to meet for the second consecutive season and for the third time in six years on Super Sunday. The defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs have won three Super Bowls since beating San Francisco in February 2020 for their first Super Bowl title in 50 years. Until proven otherwise, the Chiefs dynasty is going to be considered unbeatable by millions of gamblers, especially with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid coming back in 2024. Following the Chiefs are the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys as the top choices. Let’s look at NFL future odds for Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9, 2025. ...
Just because there’s a break in the middle of the contest doesn’t mean the prop bets stop. Oh no. Like the action on the field and the commercials that cost a boatload of money to air for half a minute, halftime has become a huge part of the Super Bowl experience, appealing to the casual fans that could care less about the game. And believe it or not there are people out there who could care less about who wins. Is there a better way for people who don’t know or care about football but want a pi...
It’s the best time of the year for bettors and sportsbooks since there’s nothing quite like the Super Bowl when it comes to gambling. BookMaker.eu has a plethora of prop betting options and the number of outrageous exotic props seems to grow every year. And in time for Super Bowl LVIII is a nice cross-over menu since Travis Kelce is hanging out with the biggest pop icon of our time. Maybe it’s a ploy by some higher powers to team the Chiefs’ tight end with Taylor Swift to attract a segment of the population. A side effect of that is a ridiculous prop menu just for Swifties. As you know anything goes when it comes to the Big Game, and it usually does. You don’t have to be a fan of either team or even the NFL to have some fun with a few prop wagers. With Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers getting closer, it’s time to take a look at a few exotic props and see where a few extra bucks can be won in order to line your wallet. Watch Super Bowl LVIII live on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. The game will be televised on CBS. ...
It wasn’t that long ago the National Football League, and every other major professional sport, wanted nothing to do with Las Vegas. The city’s connection to organized crime and gambling was thought to have a negative effect on the sport thus damaging its integrity and credibility. Welp, times change and if you don’t change with them you’ll be left behind. The NFL adapted with one of its members relocating to one of the fastest growing markets in the country and on Sunday, February 11, the league’s showcase event will take place at new Allegiant Stadium when the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers battle in Super Bowl LVIII. The Super Bowl isn’t just a game to determine the NFL champion. Not even close. It’s an experience that lasts the entire day. And to make things more interesting and to liven up the game even more, sportsbooks go all out with an insane market of thousands of propositional bets. You don’t have to be a football fan to guess whether or not the coin toss will land on heads or tails. But you can place a wager on it. The halftime show has become a bigger deal than the game itself, and because of that there are a number of prop bets available for intermission activities. And let’s not forget why we are here, there is a game taking place between two of the best teams in the NFL. And that’s where the betting really takes place with billions of dollars wagered on which team wins as well as the performance of certain players. Welcome to the world of Super Bowl props. Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will air live on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. The game will be televised on CBS. ...
Since there is only one game and if you desire to play a parlay I guess that would fit in the same-game NFL parlay category. Much like the game itself, how to wager on the NFL has evolved over the years. The super bowl of sports betting is actually, well, the Super Bowl with millions of dollars exchanged. And how to bet on the game has taken on a life of its own. With an additional week to prepare sportsbooks go all out on the wager making a parlay more than just a spread and total bet. That means wagering options at bitcoin sportsbooks are abundant when the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers square off in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Winning a parlay isn’t easy but rather than throwing down a big chunk of change on a single bet, we can increase the odds with multiple wagers on the same ticket to get a piece of that cash pie at the end of the day. That’s exactly what a NFL parlay does with sweeter odds on a multi-wager bet. ...
With an added week in between conference championships and NFL Super Bowl LVIII we have more time to handicap picks and digest the massive prop bet menu coming our way. One of the biggest props in terms of tickets and handle is game MVP and there’s a good reason why quarterbacks are always the favored players. Over the previous 57 Super Bowls a QB has won the award 32 times, that’s over 56 percent. Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes is one of a handful of players with multiple Super Bowl MVPs, including last year when he threw three scoring passes in a 38-35 win over Philadelphia. And that’s exactly why players on the offensive side have combined for 47 trophies. Picking an MVP is all about numbers and defenders typically don’t put up enough because they aren’t touching the ball every play. With another trophy Mahomes joins Tom Brady (5) and Joe Montana (3) as the only players with more than two MVPs. There are a bunch of playmakers on the field, though, leaving several value options available. ...
The Kansas City Chiefs earned the right to defend their NFL title winning their last two playoff games as road underdogs to reach the Super Bowl for a second straight season and for the fourth time in the last five years. One of their previous three appearances was against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, which the Chiefs won 31-20. The No. 3 seed in the AFC, the Chiefs beat No. 2 Buffalo in the Divisional Round to reach the AFC Championship for the sixth year in a row where they beat ...
Championship Sunday is upon us with the four remaining teams in the NFL postseason vying for a trip to Las Vegas in February for Super Bowl LVIII. The top seeds in each conference survived the Divisional Round and will host with the NFC’s San Francisco 49ers and AFC’s Baltimore Ravens listed as the favorite in their respective games. The Ravens host the Kansas City Chiefs in the first game of the day as a 3.5-point favorite. The Chiefs are making their sixth straight appearance in the title game with three wins in their five previous trips. For the first time under Patrick Mahomes KC went on the road for a playoff game knocking off Buffalo, 27-24, last week as a 2.5-point dog on the closing line. The Chiefs improved to 13-3 in the postseason with Mahomes as their starter. The only one among the four teams without a Super Bowl appearance, the Detroit Lions are a converted touchdown underdog in their quest to change history. They already have in so many ways but are still looking for the ultimate prize. The Lions won their first division title in three decades, matched a franchise record with 12 regular season wins, snapped an eight-game postseason losing streak with a victory of the Rams on Super Wild Card Weekend and reached the NFC Championship for just the second time. Since Week 8 of last season the Lions have gone 22-7. Over the same time period the Niners are 25-6, the Chiefs 25-7 and Baltimore 20-9. So they definitely belong in the semifinal round of the NFL playoffs. ...
After watching the playoff field battle it out over Super Wild Card Weekend, the NFL’s two best teams hit the gridiron as the biggest favorites on the Divisional Round betting board. The San Francisco 49ers have a big grin after their Super Bowl odds shrunk following the early departures of their biggest threats in the NFC. The Green Bay Packers upset second-seed Dallas earning a trip to the Bay Area for a Saturday showdown with the Niners in the only Divisional Round contest that isn’t a regular season rematch. The Niners opened as a 10-point favorite with the number falling 9.5 by midweek. The AFC’s top-seed Baltimore Ravens are laying 9-points for their matchup with the Houston Texans. Combined when favored by at least 9-points at crypto sportsbooks the Ravens and Niners were 8-0 SU and 5-3 ATS. Oh, let’s not forget there are two other games this weekend to determine who plays for a trip to Vegas in early February. The Detroit Lions snapped an eight-game playoff losing streak with a narrow win over the Rams and hit the board as a 6-point home favorite against Tampa Bay. The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs meet in the postseason for the third time in four years with the Bills laying 2.5-points to the defending Super Bowl champions. ...
The NFL’s second season begins with Super Wild Card Weekend where 12 teams get the month-long tournament started with the two remaining clubs squaring off in Super Bowl LVIII. It also gives bettors another chance to hit it big with a NFL parlay at Crypto Sportsbooks. Six games are played over the weekend with the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Miami Dolphins in one of two Saturday matchups. The subplots abound in Sunday’s encounters with former Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy taking his No. 2 seed Dallas Cowboys into a home matchup with the Packers. Sunday night has the Lions hosting the Rams as 3-point favorite. The clubs swapped QBs a few years ago with Matthew Stafford taking the Rams to a Super Bowl title in his first season. The Lions are looking for Jared Goff to do the same. I closed the regular season in a slump with my NFL parlays but will use the playoffs as my second season. ...
Winning a single NFL wager is hard enough let alone a multi-team parlay when you bet on the NFL with bitcoin. Overall it’s been a good season with three NFL parlay winners and success on 58 percent of my individual picks entering last week’s games. The percentage came down after losing all three wagers. And the final weekend of the regular season being like an exhibition game for some teams, breaking out of my slump will be hard. But that won’t stop me from trying. Besides, I have to make up for last week’s disaster. The top seeds in each conference have been determined so you wonder how motivated Baltimore and San Francisco are going to be. The Ravens are actually a 3.5-point home underdog to the Steelers for their Saturday tilt. In addition, 12 teams enter Week 18 having already been eliminated from playoff contention. ...
Just when you think you have things figured out it so happens that you don’t. Man I came close to hitting my three team NFL parlay at my crypto sportsbook last week only to have the Steelers rise from the ashes to take out the Bengals giving me my only loss. Heading into Week 17 of the NFL regular season 75 percent of the teams are still mathematically alive for a playoff berth. That means every game on the slate has postseason implications for at least one of the teams involved. And two teams that reached the tournament last season are among the eight clubs that have been eliminated from playoff consideration. The LA Chargers fired their head coach among the chaos of the season and the New York Giants are searching for a quarterback. Those are good teams to target in a NFL parlay. ...
When you bet on the NFL using bitcoin there are plenty of times things don’t go the way you expect or want them to. Handicapping games and studying trends makes for more informed bettors, but we have no control over what takes place on the field. Teams do things they don’t normally do, players have bad games and others have great games, but the bottom line is you just don’t know. I guess in a way that adds to the excitement of playing a NFL parlay since many moving parts have to come together in order to cash a winning ticket. I’ve done well on my parlays this season winning three three-team tickets while successfully picking better than 57 percent of the individual wagers. With only three weeks remaining in the regular season time is of the essence to win another NFL parlay. There are some great matchups in Week 16 with the Christmas night tilt between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers featuring the top two teams in the NFL. ...
After nearly missing a three-team parlay I came back strong last week to make sure that didn’t happen again. And it didn’t with all three wagers connecting to give me yet another winning NFL parlay at my crypto sportsbooks. I wasn’t picking on the Eagles as some sort of personal vendetta since they cost me a winning parlay by rolling over for the 49ers a few weeks ago. Nope, they were trending down and I jumped on the red-hot Cowboys minus the points in the crucial NFC East showdown. Dallas is one of if not the hottest team in the NFL and they’re undefeated at home, so it wasn’t a stretch to back the Boys. It’s a different story this week with Dallas hitting the road to Buffalo. Meanwhile, the Eagles get a break from a tough stretch of games and don’t face a team with a winning record entering Week 15 for the remainder of the season, starting with Monday’s tilt in Seattle. There is a full weekend of games with a Saturday triple header on tap and every team is in action with no more bye weeks. ...
As it turns out backing the best team in the league isn’t always a winning proposition. The Eagles were the only thing that stood between me and another winning NFL parlay last week at my bitcoin sportsbook. We hit the final four weeks of the NFL regular season with playoff races and positioning heating up. And like last week proved anything can happen. Two of the top teams in the AFC lost with Kansas City and Jacksonville falling one game behind in the overall conference standings with their setbacks. And the NFC race tightened up with the Eagles now holding just a one-game bulge over a trio of teams for the top spot in that conference. ...
I was on a nice heater back in the middle of the season winning two parlays in the span of several weeks. It’s easy to go cold at the betting window and it’s safe to say I’m slumping right now. The betting Gods have a way of getting even. It’s happened before and I trust that it’ll happen again which is why I’ll continue to bet NFL parlays at my bitcoin sportsbook. For those keeping track last week was a dandy for favorites with teams laying points going 14-2 SU and 13-3 ATS. The only outright losers bookended the week with Detroit losing on Thanksgiving Day and Minnesota falling on Monday in NFC North matchups. With that out of the way let’s get back to winning NFL parlay picks for the 13-game Week 13 slate. ...
It’s not often that you have a good time when watching your NFL parlay fail. From a pure drama and suspense angle last weekend was full of both. Once again I can say I came close but the eventual result was a losing ticket. After hitting on over 60 percent of my individual picks for the season, the last two weeks weren’t very good. I was on the verge of another winning parlay at my bitcoin sportsbook but the Cardinals spoiled it by not scoring after getting into Houston territory on three consecutive fourth quarter drives. Like I’ve said just about every week, it’s hard to win a parlay and the unpredictable nature of the NFL just adds to the complexity of the assignment. With seven weeks remaining in the regular season it’s time for me to get back to winning, which starts again in Week 12. ...
I said following my Week 9 near win that if you’re going to lose a NFL parlay it might be better to have several picks that fail. Well, it happened to me last week. I felt confident with my four-team play but the unpredictable nature of the NFL has a way of messing things up. As it turns out the entire card was shot with more losses for the first time in over a month. Three of my four picks failed to connect and it’s been three weeks now since my last parlay win. At least the Cleveland Browns prevented me from having a worse week at my crypto sportsbook. The Browns upset Baltimore as a 6-point dog for their third straight payout and fourth in five games. And like I said last week I’ll put this one behind me and forge ahead to Week 11 of the NFL season looking for a winning parlay card. ...
I don’t know if I can handle the drama and intrigue of a NFL parlay when I bet on the NFL using bitcoin. Sometimes it’s almost worth it to have several losing picks on a ticket rather than to endure what I had to last week with the Dallas Cowboys. My other two picks won and I needed the Boys to cover the 3-point spread in their clash with Philadelphia. Dallas had an apparent touchdown overturned on video review and a 2-point conversion waved off. Then they failed to score after reaching the Philly 6-yard line with less than 30 seconds to play. The result was a 28-23 Eagles win. Oh well, that’s why they call it gambling. I’ll put that one behind me and forge ahead to Week 10 of the NFL season looking for a winning parlay card. ...
Once again I came close to hitting a three-team parlay, but as you know there are only a few instances were coming close counts and NFL parlays aint one of them. So it’s back to the Crypto Sportsbook drawing board for my Week 9 NFL parlay picks as I look to cash a...
I came close to hitting another three-team NFL parlay last week when sports betting with bitcoin losing by an eyelash, okay several eyelashes, in backing the Chargers and Browns. Still, it hasn’t been a bad month with a pair of three-team winners in the last four weeks fattening the bankroll. It’s no time to get complacent with the NFL season reaching the midway point and all 32 teams in action for Week 8 of the campaign. Showing just how volatile the NFL is underdogs prevailed in seven of the 13 games last week with eight dogs earning a payout. The Patriots were the biggest upset winner shocking Buffalo 29-25 while catching 7.5-points on the closing line. We also saw a big upset on Monday night with Minnesota beating the Niners outright as a 7-point dog. ...
When riding a heater it’s sometimes best to extend the action. After hitting a three-team parlay for the second time in three weeks I’m feeling confident that I can increase the number of wagers on a parlay card and continue to come out ahead. The one problem is that Week 7 has fewer options when you bet on the NFL using bitcoin with six teams enjoying a bye and only 13 games on the slate. With five payouts in six games the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins are the most profitable teams in the NFL with both in action and catching points on Sunday. Winners of four straight the Lions head to Baltimore as a 3-point dog. In a potential Super Bowl preview the Fins visit Philadelphia as a 2-point dog on Sunday Night Football. ...
After hitting a three-team parlay in Week 4 things didn’t go my way last week. And any excitement over a potential winning ticket was squashed early when the Bills were upset by Jacksonville in London. I even mentioned that the travel could be an issue against a team already stationed in the UK. That could have had something to do with Buffalo’s slow start. I like the Jags and think the postseason is a possibility for them, but their defense in no way reminds me of the 1985 Bears, which is why t...
I said after going 2-1 on my Week 3 NFL parlay picks that a winning ticket was right around the corner. It turned out I was right. My three picks hit last week when sports betting with bitcoin giving me my first winner of the season. The handsome payout associated with a winning parlay gives you some wiggle room when it comes time to making wagers. You don’t need to win as often as say a teaser, which has a lower payout due to buying points in your favor. Winning a three-team parlay isn’t easy, which is why the odds are so good, and it’s a good feeling when that ticket pays off. It helps when betting on the NFL to keep an ear open to injury reports. A few more quarterbacks went down in Week 4, though the injuries aren’t considered serious. Let’s keep the heater on parlay picks going into Week 5 of the NFL season. ...
